Ryan stared at a wall, his head full of scenarios in which to handle this new development. The meeting had been confirmed and the decision to reveal what he had discovered became even more difficult. He knows already, knows that Terra had been given the truth about what had happened years prior.
The man was not that naive to think everyone with knowledge on the situation would stay silent and if they were to have any change, everything needed to be on the table. "Ryan." That voice was so familiar. His daughter reminded him so much of his wife, "What is it?" He responded but kept his eyes away from her.
"I know what happened, the cure, the cover up." Terra answered and came a little further into the room, "Tell me about my mother." That sentence snapped Ryan out of his dream and he finally turned his attention to his daughter.
"Your mother." Water sparkled within the man's eyes, "She was an amazing woman, she couldn't ever hurt anyone even if they did her wrong." Terra made herself comfortable and sat on the opposite side of the man she once called father, "She loved you very much Terra."
Terra didn't want to hear this babbling, all she wanted, needed him to say was what happened to her mom. "Tell me how she died Ryan." Ryan's mouth shut and a choked sob escaped his throat, the tears he was holding back slipped down his face without permission. "She was sick, I tried everything. I worked all the time trying to find a way to help her or at least try to slow down the process."
A pinch of sympathy rose in Terra but she kept her face stoic, "After months and months of mixing things you wouldn't even imagine, I finally made a solution. Pixalte." Ryan hunched over and allowed the tears to drip off his face, hitting the table. "It wasn't reliable but it slowed down the process and she lived for a few years before we had you. After she gave birth to you, her condition became worse. Pixalte didn't seem to be working as well as before and she became critical, sadly when you were one she couldn't fight anymore."
The two stared into nothingness as they both tried to compose and comprehend the words just spoken. "How did you create Pixalte?" Terra asked quietly, almost too soft for her relative to hear. "Lithium and Nitrogen." Her brows furrowed, never hearing those two words before and Ryan sensing this finally looked up, "Lithium is a drug that people use as a mood stabilizer, Nitrogen makes nucleic acids which form DNA and RNA."
Terra nodded, processing the information. "I am sure that you have figured out what happened and how only you children seem to posses these unique traits. You were all vaccinated in hope that you would grow a resistance to the virus and you did. None of you will die from the sickness if it has somehow survived the bombs."
Ryan shut his mouth but then opened it as if to continue but then he stopped himself, "I had assumed that much but I know you are still hiding something Ryan." Terra crossed her legs, her jean coming up slightly and her skin shone through. If the room hadn't been tense before it was now, "I don't know what you are talking about." The man cleaned his face and stood up. Head up and his posture tall.
"Ryan, don't you think the time to keep secrets is over. As far as we know us and those with the president are the only ones alive. No one is going to hold you accountable of your actions." Terra's father walked around the table and came to stand next to his daughter. The pink line peeking under her pants drew his eyes and another wave of guilt shocked him.
He remembered giving the order, those words, "I don't care what you do, bring her back." The fear of what would happen to him was the only thing that drove him to follow commands given to him but now that a new terror had approached him, he had to determine which was more important. The president possibly cutting their connection off or his daughter dying.

Tan was sat next to Mary on the bed as she finally decided to reveal what she knew, "When I was going through Ryan's mind, I saw him and the president discuss how they were going to save the human race. A virus was discovered on earth and it was killing everyone, so they decided to create bombs. Anyone can come to the conclusion quickly that, that is what killed everyone else and the only reason why we are here is because our parents where selected to be saved."
"When we were born they injected us with what he called the cure but it was actually a shot that we were given to combat this sickness in case it was still here." Ivy pursed her lips, "It worked much better then they ever expected as they started seeing some of us doing things a human couldn't do."
"There is something else Zack and I found out." Ivy commented and both the other occupants snapped their attention to the red haired girl, "We found files, there was information of patients who I think were tested here. After a while of searching through to find any information, we stumbled across a woman. Terresa Solmen."
"Terra's mother." The girls nodded at the young man. "Mary and I are not sure what the next step should be but what we are sure about is not to inform Terra of it." "If it's about her mom I think she has a right to know what happened. We know she could be dangerous and if that's what you're afraid of, not telling her would cause her to be exactly that."
The girls cleared their throat trying to feign that, that was not the case. Ivy continued after a few seconds of trying to bring back face, "We found out how she died."
"She was killed, by Ryan."
