Conner and Ryan stood outside the large wall, their hearts pounding. The soldiers watched the two new arrivals behind their masks which caused the anxiety between the men to become even worse and Ryan slightly fixed his own mask upon his face. "Stay silent and speak only when addressed. Got it?" Ryan whispered and Conner had to strain his ears to catch what he had said but nodded in reply.

The two men straightened their posture once they saw movement on the wall before a shout was heard, "Open the gate!" Slowly the gate started to rise, creaking and grunts grazing the wind, four men were slowly turning a wheel which was the reason for some sounds that could be heard. Ryan's heart dropped when he saw the familiar figure stepping into the light in front of him.

He nudged Conner slightly with his elbow and the young male soon realized that this was the one they came for. "Ryan." The president acknowledged before his eyes moved over to Conner, "You must be the one who can teleport. Your name?" Conner swallowed slowly, "Conner." "Zion." Zion turned back to face the entrance and walked back whence he came.

Ryan followed after him quickly but Conner was more hesitant, "Conner, come!" Ryan hissed quietly once he realized the young male hadn't moved yet. That set the brunette boy's mind right and his steps moved to fall in step next to Ryan. The gate shut behind them with a bang and Conner glanced back, making note of the guards who went back to where they were stationed.

Terra stood facing a window, her mind keeping her occupied. She didn't know what to feel, anger, fear or self-pity. A sigh left her and she bit her lip, one thing that she was sure of was that her mother, that she now knew had the name of Terresa was going to get justice. Her brain couldn't wrap around the fact that Ryan gave the cure to another man's child, instead of saving her mother, his wife.

His only care in the situation was to keep his reputation with the president, who in the first place was just as evil or not more, given the fact that he ordered the bombs be made and dropped in the first place. Now is not the time to worry about the past, she reminded herself, it can't be changed.

She knew that and that's why she wasn't wallowing in her demise, there were bigger things to care about then her. If there was to be a thriving world once more, the president had to be persuaded to their side. A sad smile came upon her face at the thought of seeing a world opposite of the destroyed planet, she knew the percentage was slim. Her death slowly withering in continuing to holler at her made sure of that.

The rest of the group was different, Mary was scared but she was also self-loathing. The fact that she thought of Terra to be another person than what she truly is made her sick, that girl was nothing like that. The fear that she felt, was created because of what she has hidden, she knew about Terra's condition before everyone else did and she didn't want to find out what Terra would do once she realizes it.

Instead of focusing on what truly mattered at the moment, the purple eyed girl was worried about herself and that made Ivy livid. Ivy hated the fact that Mary seemed to not have her priorities straight especially since Conner was fully behind Terra and Mary followed him. She was worried about where the girls loyalties lied at this moment.

Tan's emotions were all over the room and he couldn't seem to catch one within his grasp, "She's dying." He whispered to himself. He doesn't deny that he has some type of feeling towards Terra but he wasn't sure if she felt the same. Either way he was going to do his best to protect her.

Conner cleared his head to make space for all the new information he was going to be given, "Alright so you called for a meeting. Start." The president commanded and leaned forward in his chair, his eyes focused.

Ryan cleared his throat before placing a folder on the table and sliding it towards Zion. "Terra came to the lab a few weeks ago and stated that her health was depleting. We thought it had something to do with the cure but after doing some tests I found something extraordinary."

Zion picked up the folder and opened it, studying the papers. "Her mother, my wife as you know was sick. When Terra was born she too had the illness." Conner felt shivers crawl down his arms at the look that overtook the powerful man in front of them. "I gave her the cure when she was twelve and her health became better, including her abilities I had assumed she had removed the disease."

Conner moved his hands away from on his lap to rest on the armchair just in case they needed to get away quick, "I have discovered that, that is not true. The process was slowed down because of the interference of the cure and right now it seems that it has reawakened."

The president tightened his grip on the file, "The disease is back." Ryan's finishing sentence was the final straw to Zion. A growl left his mouth as he flung the folder on the desk and the papers scattered. It was silent for a couple agonizing seconds before Zion announced, "She needs to die."

Ryan's eyes widened, "NO!" Zion glared at Ryan, "Please, we don't know if it can spread like before. She is my daughter." He begged.

"This was the reason you came here wasn't it." The president scoffed, "So that we could figure this problem out and the only way it can be solved is by killing her." Conner released the bite on his tongue, "We came here to ask for you to stop the experiments on those scientists you're holding captive."

A smirk danced on the presidents face, "Oh I see, you both came here with your own agenda but nothing is going to be stopped. Except of course your little Terresa."
