Ryan knew by the gasp that he heard and the loud thud that Nora was no longer with them. "She truly is gone." He whispered sadly, looking at Zion, "You took my daughter and turned her into a monster." His face turned to fury. The president couldn't stare back and instead kept his attention forward.
"Terra you don't have to do this. We found a way to help, all you need to do is stand down," Conner decided to show himself as he went to stand next to Ally. The centre of attention burst out in laughter but it ended just as quick as it had come. "Help," She glared deeply at them with thin lips, "The ones who need help are standing right in front of me."
Her feet stepped over the lifeless body, "Terra, please don't make me do this." Ally begged her, sparks falling lightly to the tiles and the sky above the mansion becoming darker. Tan let out a warning growl and nodded over to Ambrose, motioning to go out and fall in step with the other two.
They let the door to the target shut behind them and the sound echoed, even though it wasn't loud. Terra and Tan locked eyes with an intense stare, "Do I know you?" Terra asked softly, her brows furrowed in confusion. Something in her head was yelling at her, telling her not to harm this man.
Tan's lips fell into a frown, "My name's Tan. I know how you feel right now and I agree that you deserve revenge," Ambrose turned to him with shocked pupils, "But two wrongs won't make a right, it just creates another problem that we have to deal with."
He held out a hand in surrender, "Take my hand and I promise that no one will hurt you again." Terra scrutinized the male, a heavy silence befalling the room. The hardened expression on the raven-haired girl's face shifted into soft and loving. "Tan?" She asked in a breathy voice but the relief and hope that washed over the young adults left just as quick when her lips snarled into a smirk.
Ally squeaked in surprise at the whoosh that went past her ear, "Get out of the way, that was my final warning." Her personalities were fighting one another. The true Terra that everyone respects and adores was stopping this one from hurting the people she grew close to, the ones she now can call her friends. She never had friends and yet after what some of them had done to her, she without a doubt would have their back.
Every single one of them had gone through terrible situations, lost their parents and had to grow up in a stressful environment. The way they reacted was just how they had to protect themselves and those they now called their family. Terra just prayed that everyone else felt the same towards her.
Inside the president's room, they were silent, listening, waiting. "Ivy put down some cover, just in case," Ryan instructed her and she followed his words. Ivy carefully walked around them in a circle, her hands pointing down as she walked, creating a ring of fire. She went back to her spot in front but kept playing with the flame, "If Terra comes in here, I want you, Zack, to take the girls, run out to the rest and shield yourselves."
"What about me?" Zion asked with big eyes and Ryan clenched his jaw, "We are going to inject Terra." Sylvester, Scarlett and the president swallowed in fear, letting out shallow breaths.
Scarlett whispered, hugging her arms, "Okay then."
No one moved, keeping their orbs trained on Terra and good thing they did because she ran towards them. Tan's reflexes were faster than all of them, together they tumbled to the floor. The two wrestled on the ground and after a few seconds, Terra somehow got her leg wrapped around the male's neck.
She was able to squeeze causing him to start gasping for breath. Due to what he was, he could get out of this but because he didn't want to harm her, he continued to struggle. "Ally!" Tan chocked, "Some help?" The silver-haired showed her palms to the scene, lightning struck right next to them. It must have been an accident by the gasp she let out and by the loud whine that both the bodies let out.
Tan was, unfortunately, unable to recover as fast as Terra did due to his sensitive hearing and was on her feet back to her mission.
Ambrose after looking over at Ally took a deep breath before meeting his somewhat equal head-on. Ally was having some sort of breakdown because of the mistake she had caused and Conner wasn't sure whether to help her or the president's son.
Ambrose and Terra fought hand to hand, "Ah! The president's son!" She had a crazy look in her eyes as she observed him. "If you want my father dead, you'll have to kill me first." "Okay." Tan was slowly trying to raise to his feet, with his hands still covering his ears.
Conner with one last glance between the scene and the girl freaking out, made his decision. He teleported behind Terra and raised his hand to knock her out but when his fist was an inch from her hair, it stopped. His mouth fell open as he tried to move his hand and it wasn't working.
But he was only alarmed when he tried to use his ability and he realized he too couldn't do that. "This took way too long than what it had to," Terra spoke with a bored face, pushing Ambrose making him stumble back onto the earth. Immobile faces watched as she sauntered over to the doors.
The group tightened their spaces between each other as the door creaked open. Terra came into view and with a large smile asked, "This is what you planned to stop me?" That's when the statues of the fellow members shined over their eyes and Mary covered her mouth, "How pathetic."
