How To Save a Life

Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend

Somewhere along in the bitterness

And I would have stayed up with you all night

Had I known how to save a life

The fight was over as fast as it started and a friendship that was becoming more ended. Neither one of them knew where they went wrong, but they both did. Somewhere in the words they shot at eachother is where it all went bad. 

"So we are nothing now?" Y/N whispers coming to hault at Hiro's door. 

"I don't know," Hiro mumbles back. Suddenly a wet tear rolls down Y/N's cheek. She knew this was the end and it crushed her. 

"Well I guess this is goodbye," Y/N slammed Hiro's bedroom door. Y/N got home saftly and cried silently to herself. She felt as if her life had no more meaning, as if the world was telling her it's over. Her thoughts flooded her mind. Bad evil thoughts, thoughts that lead her into the restroom  that was attachted to her bedroom. She stared at herself blankly. Hiro called Y/N's phone only for it to go to voicemail. He had a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach as if something was wrong. Something was wrong. Y/N took the cap off the pill bottle. The prescrpition had warnings all over it but she refused to look at them. Knowing if she did she wouldn't pop the bottle in her mouth and swallow. Once the pills inched down her throat she threw open a drawer. Sharp tools in it. She took one new one, it was shiny, new, crisp, prestine, in her eyes it seemed perfect. She started to stratch herself with the razor lightly until her head started to spin and she started to see stars. Hiro tried one more time and still voicemail. He couldn't bare it anymore he sprinted over to Y/N's house letting himself in. 

"Y/N!?!" He screamed. No answer. His heart fell to his stomach. He ran up the steps and into Y/N's room. He called again. "Y/N?!" Still nothing. Finally he crept into the bathroom his eyes going wide once he saw her uncosious. He knelt down next to her and rocked her in his arms. "Please wake up," he cried. "It's my fault, I'm sorry, I love you and I was too scared to tell you please don't leave me," he balled. Y/N's chest rose and fell very faintly. Hiro dialed the ambulance as he held his precsious love in his arms. He hung up and looked at her. "Had I known how to save a life," he murmured to himself. He placed a sweet kiss on her chapped lips hoping that it would lead to her to wake up. But she wasn't Snow White nor was she Sleeping Beauty. She stayed unconscious and as the seconds ticked by Hiro kept losing faith, kept losing hope. "It's all my fault," he said again. The ambulance soon arrived taking the both of them to the hospital. "Please live," he prayed.
