My outsides look cool
My insides are blue
Every time I think I'm through
It's because of you
I've tried different ways
But it's all the same
At the end of the day
I have myself to blame
I'm just trippin'
Y/n tried ever so hard to be the girl Hiro talked about. She tried to get into a zero. Died her hair, everything she could possiably do make this boy she loved so much love her back.
"Y/N what are you doing? Dieing your hair again?" her mother grumbled.
"It's not good enough," Y/N huffed.
"What do you mean, you've been acting so weird for three months now," she tapped her foot impatienly wanting Y/N to stop the hair dying process.
"I'm not acting weird," Y/N spit.
"Yes you are, look at you," her mother motioned Y/N's entire body as if everything has changed and it had.
"I just lost a few pounds,"
"A few pounds? You weren't supposed to lose any, Y/N, now you are very underweight," her mother choked.
"Well at least it's better than being over weight," Y/N shrugged, her mother left the room, filled with terror, what was happening to her once innocent little girl who used to parade around in princess dresses. She was now consumed by a girl who was cruel, awfully thin, and dressing like a protitute. The front door rang and Y/N's mother answered. There stood Hiro.
"Hiro Hamada?" Her mother asked skeptically.
"Yes, that's me, is your daughter her?"
"Um yes, she is right up stairs to the left, you can go right in," her mother told him. He smiled graciously and treked up the steps. He stopped at her door that was wide open he peeked in and saw her sitting at her vanity, stripping her hair.
"Um, Hi," he said awkwardly.
"H-Hiro what are you doing here?" she hurried up to put away the dying tools.
"I came to say hi, I was worried about you, you've been acting strange," he twisted his nose.
"Um, strange how?" Y/N questioned, her hands began to sweat and she realized she was in her Pj's. Not in front of him, he'll think I'm ugly. She thought to herself.
"You've been talking to those mean girls, and you haven't been with Honey Lemon lately, are you guys fighting?"
"No, she is just not my type of friend," she snooted. Oh great, now she sounded like a total bitch and she was for saying that.
"Type of friend? This is what I mean, every since I dated the head cheerleader, you've been turning into her, and I really hate her, that's why I broke up with her, I don't want to lose you as a friend,"
"I guess I am trying to be her," She accidendtly admitted. She covered her mouth in regret and began to cry. She felt awful for what she has done, but she just wanted Hiro to love her.
"Don't be her, because you are much better then that fake brat," Hiro hugged Y/N and it was as if her worries faded away, being in his arms felt like a paradise that she never wanted to leave and when he pulled away it was all too soon.
"The truth is Hiro, I was trying to be different so you loved me, like I love you," Y/N whispered.
"I already love you, without the fake exteiror, you should have told me how you felt, no scratch that I should have, I love you," Hiro kissed Y/N. Their bodies fit together like a puzzle a beautiful puzzle.
"I love you too,"
"Good now be yourself beautiful," as the words left his mouth, Y/N finally didn't feel unpretty and unworthy anymore, she felt loved.
