"Hi everyone," Y/N smiled happily. Her old friends pulled her into an embrace. Her eyes glanced around the room until they landed on him. Hiro Hamada. Her heart broke a bit, but she smiled through. It hurt to fake the grin, but she managed. Her friends invited her into the break room, there Hiro sat, his eyes on his phone. Not looking at anyone, he seemed upset.

"Hiro's been so quiet," Amelia whispered.

"Really why?" Y/N asked, trying to sound as non-chalant as possiable.

"I think it's because he was an ass hole to you, he misses you, I'm postive," she nods.

"oh," Y/N asnwered simply. No other words would come out. It was like she was on the mute button.

"So are you excited?"

"Huh?"

"About your new job silly," anothe girl, Jesa, quired.

"Oh, yes, I can't wait," and Y/N was happy for herself, happy she was pursuing her dreams, she just wished deep down it could be with the boy she loved.

"Great, we are so happy for you," the girls squeled and went on, carrying about Y/N's new job and her dreams.

"Well we will let you go, it seems someone wants to talk to you," the girl pointed behind Y/N and she turned around to meet Hiro's brown eyes. They gleamed with tears. All the other girls quickly parted to give the two ex-lovers their privacy.

"Um, HI," Hiro greeted awkwardly.

"hello," Y/N's eyes met her shoes, too scared to look back into his eyes.

"About what I've done-"

"HIro I don't want your apology, actually I want to thank you for giving me my dream, if you hadn't cheated on me I would have never went after it, I would have never applied,"

"Y/N, what?" Hiro's breath hitched in his throat he couldn't believe what she was saying, and Y/N couldn't believe herself either. She was full of confidence all the sudden.

"Listen what you did was cruel, wrong, and injustice, but you know what it made me realize I'm stronger then what I think. I gathered so much courage that day I left, the courage you didn't let me have, well now look at me Hiro, I'm fine, I'm perfectly capable of a life without you. I never thought that would be possiable a few months ago, I was so dependant on you, but look at me, I'm sucessful. I'm following my dreams, my goals, without you, and it feels hella amazing," Y/N had a smile on her face. She moved on, she finally moved on. She was greatful Hiro was there, there to let her rave and rant. She was happy to get all that crap off her chest.

"But please?"

"Hiro I'm sorry, but you screwed up, and you will never, ever, get me back," Y/N concluded and left Hiro to stand their speechless. His mouth hang agape as she left the building. What hurt the most was that he lost what made him breath.
