If I kiss you like this

And if you whisper like that

It was lost long ago

But it's all coming back to me

If you want me like this

And if you need me like that

It was dead long ago

But it's all coming back to me

It's so hard to resist

And it's all coming back to me

The papers were final and the divorce was on. Neither wanted to do it, but neither one would apoligize. Sadly in the middle sat their little girl, only three, so innocent and happy. She had no idea what her parents were doing, but she knew something was up and she couldn't stop asking mommy what was wrong.

"Mommy why isn't daddy home to tuck me in anymore? " Y/N's daughter asked with such wide eyes it killed Y/N to tell her, but she had too. There was no other choice.

"Sweetheart you'll see daddy next week," Y/N tried to go around it.

"Why? I want daddy now," the little girl pouted and her eyes filled with tears. A knock was heard at the littles girls bedroom door.

"Stay here baby girl, ok, mommy will be right back," Y/N quickly scurried to the door. Their Hiro stood. His shirt all wrinkled. Eyes were dark and sucken in. Y/N hadn't seen Hiro in three days since the papers were signed, and now that she did her heart beat loudly in her chest.

"Hiro what are you doing here?"

"I heard what our little girl said," he looked up, a look of devasation and desperation.

"Hiro she'll get used to it, it'll be alright," Y/N touched Hiro's shoulder lightly and tingles ran through her hand and on his arm.

"She's so young, Y/N, she's going to have to jump from house to house, parent to parent, how is she going to go to school, what's it going to be like for her to have friends?" he crumpled to the ground tears streaming out of his eyes.

"It's going to be fine, you're apartment is close to her day care center, and for friends it'll work out in the long run," Y/N tried to make emmends but Hiro wouldn't take it. He couldn't lose his two favorite girls. He needed them like he needed air, but it's too late.

"Y/N, you don't understand do you?"

"Understand what?" Y/N's eyes furrow tight and she bends down next to her former husband.

"That I can't lose you or her," he meets Y/N's eyes and something sparkles beneath them. Something Y/N saw the first time they met. That sparkle that let Y/N know he was the one, and suddenly everything was coming back to her. The memories. The ones when they were teens, newly weds, when they had their prescious angel.

"I do understand though," Y/N whispered. The words came out before she even knew.

"You do?" Hiro sniffled.

"Yeah, " Y/N nodded. Small pools in her eyes formed and Hiro tugged her in for a tight hug. The two stayed like that, crying into each others shoulders, holding on as if it was the last they would ever see eachother.

"I don't want this divorce," Y/N spoke up.

"Me neither, and I'm sorry. For saying what I did, I was an asshole and should've understood your side,"

"I'm sorry too Hiro, I guess we were both at fault," Y/N laughed slightly to break the tension.

"We were, but look where we are now, together," Hiro grinned. "I miss you so much, I love you Y/N," he kissed her passionatley. A small pitter patter of feet made them dart apart.

"Mommy daddy can you tuck me in?" their daughter smiled at them with such love and adoration.

"Of course," the spoke in unsion and stood up to tuck their prescious baby in bed.
