Hiro's plane landed saftly. His welcoming party just seemed to mean nothing without Y/N. He faked a smile the entire two hours, he hoped if he kept smiling they would stop talking to him. Leave him alone and after a while they left. Finally Hiro was alone and he hated it. The silence swallowed him whole. He looked at his phone dreaming he would see Y/N's name light up, but sadly that wasn't the case.

"I miss her," he yelled out. "I want her back," he screamed. "Please," he choked the last part out. He grabbed his keys and without another thought he left to the bar. In there he ordered drinks after drinks hoping to erase her memory, but all it did was make him naseaous. After three drinks he stumbled out of the crowded place. He bumped into a small figure, one he used to hold close to him dearly.

"Hiro?" Y/N asked.

"Y/N?" he stammered.

"Yeah, wow, it's been months," she seemed to play it cool. Too cool that Hiro automatically sobered up.

"It has, hasn't it?" he scratched the nap of his neck. He knew his cheeks were burning red and his stomach was in twists.

"It was nice seeing you again," she smiled and waved off. Just like that, she was gone. Hiro sighed deeply.

"Strangers, we're now strangers," he shook his head in disbelief. He never thought this would happen. In a perfect world Y/N would've been at that plane station to see Hiro, but a perfect world does not exsist. Hiro watched in agony as Y/N met someone at the bar door. He was tall and masculane and perfect for her. Hiro went back to his apartment, he tore down the welcome home signs. Truly the apartment wasn't home anymore, not without Y/N. He slept on the couch that night. He couldn't bare the bed the two shared. Y/N moved out quick and left no trace she was there, well all she left was a necklace Hiro bought her and the first date picture.

"What did I tell ya ? Close as strangers," Hiro scoffed at himself the next morning when he came upon the photo. He took the thin frame and held it in his hands. Starring at it as if he could go back in time, he wanted to change his job, although it paid well, he lost the thing that mattered most to him. Y/N.
