Y/N got ready. She put on a springy dress and nice shoes. She wanted to look nice, she wanted to show Hiro she was perfectly fine without him. But was she? Was she playing tricks on her own mind? She walked the short distance down the street to the cafe. She beat Hiro there, she knew she would. She ordered coffee and a side of freshly baked bread.

"Y/N it's been a while since we saw you in here," the owner of the cafe grinned sadly at the young women. It has been. Y/N refused to go places other than work and home, she was scared of running into her old memories.

"Yeah it has,"Y/N nodded.

"Well I'm happy to see you back," the short lady pat Y/N's back before going to take others orders. Y/N sat silently going over lists and work projects in her head. When the clock hit the 12 the door swung open and revealded Hiro Hamada himself. He wore tight jeans and a nice collared shirt. He looked so mature and put together. Different from the years before where he wore long khaki cargo pants and baggy shirts and a zip up hoodie. Time flew by quick, too quick. He spotted his true love and smiled. Happy she came. He sat across from her. She smiled although she really was upset. Hiro looked at her with such love he questioned everything he done in the years.

"So," Y/N spoke up beginning to feel timid from Hiro's gaze.

"Um, thanks for meeting me," Hiro smiled.

"Yeah," Y/N shrugged wanting the conversation to be over with. It hurt to see the ring on his wedded finger. It hurt that he was sleeping next to a girl who once hurt her so badly.

"I just wanted to make things right," Hiro began.

"Ok,"

"I'm sorry I hurt you I really am, I should've told you I was seeing a girl, I should've invited you to the wedding, i should have thought about you instead of myself, because now I lost the most important girl in my life. I'm stupid I really am,"

"Hiro stop kidding yourself, okay, yeah I'm mad at you for lieing and not telling me what was happening, but Marney is gorgeous, you'de be stupid to turn her down,"

"Y/N," Hiro whispered so their eyes met. She looked into his big eyes. She fell in love all over again. She hated him that he could do this to her so she looked away. "I'de turn her down to have you back anyday," he gently touched Y/N cheek but she grimaced at his touch.

"Hiro stop please," she begged. She wanted his touch to never exsist. She wanted to run out of the cafe and never see him again.

"I can't stop how I feel," he leaned into kiss Y/N but she stood up abrutly, and darted to the door slamming it in the process. The whole cafe shook. Hiro put his head on the table. Humilated and angry at himself. The owner came over and passed him a note.

"This fell out of her purse, I think you may want to read it,"

Dear Hiro,

I can't believe I finally have the couarge to tell you this but I love you. We've been best friends forever and I just feel so connected to you, I dream someday we can live together in harmony. Get married. I don't know if you feel the same way but I love you so much, so much it kinda hurts, but it's worht it... I hope you read this and feel the same way.

The note was old and riddled it had to be from high school. Hiro hated himself even more now. The one he was supposed to be with was in front of him the whole time yet he didn't notice and now that he did it was too late.

Sorry I haven't updated my story in a while I will try to tomorrow afternoon maybe but I just got OUAT on DVD so I'll be binge watching that
