Kicking at the stones starring blankly back at the intitute. It's time to tell every one about my move. I'm moving tomorrow, across the city to another college. Maybe there I can get my mind off Hiro, we were really close and then all the sudden a girl popped up taking his attention away from everything. They're only friends, he told me one night. I scoffed in his face, friends ? Just friends, he lied. There is no way they're just friends, not the way he touches her. I wanted to tell him how I felt, I wanted to tell him how much he meant to me, then she came around. Destroying my chance and my confidence. I walk glumly into the huge building and I feel the world on my shoulders. I need to tell them before I make myself sick. I spot the crew in the nerd lab, they all are in a hudle talking about some new science project I suppose.

"Y/N we were just about to call you," Honey says bekoning me over. She notices my expression imediatly. "Are you alright ?" she mumbles pulling me into a hug. The others look at me curiously.

"I'm leaving," I announce finally. But I still feel the burden on my back. It's still there, heavy and annoying.

"What ?" Fred gasps.

"What do you mean you're leaving ?" GoGo stresses.

"I'm moving to Anaheim Lima Institute,"

"Our main competitor ?" Wasabi chokes.

"Yeah," I bite my innner cheeks nervously. None of them say anything. "I thought it would be best for-"

"So you can get away from Hiro," Honey Lemon taps her heel.

"I mean, partily yeah, but also so I can study more closer to family," I lie.

"Dude your family lives across the country, don't lie to us, it's to get away from Hiro," Fred exclaims sharply.

"Fine, it is,"

"Y/N, I know you like him and all, but there are plenty of others here who would love to take you out," Honey smiles.

"That's not the point, the point is he isn't Hiro anymore, not since Kristy came,"

"Y/N, you have to stay please, Hiro might like you, you never did ask him," Honey shrugs shamelessly.

"I already made my choice, I'm leaving, maybe I'll be happier there, because everyone knows I'm miserable here,"

"After Kristy came, but before that everything was-"

"Perfect," a voice finishes from behind. I whip around to face big brown eyes and raven hair. Hiro towers over me and takes me hands.

"Hiro, did you hear everything ?" I murmur.

"Well about you leaving yeah," his eyes drop to the floor. "Please don't leave me, I'm sorry, Kristy is gone now, she doesn't matter, you do,"

"Hiro I-"

"Y/N, I love you please stay here,"

"Hiro, I can't , I can't be caught up in you anymore, I have to move on becuase for the last year I've spent my day drooling over my best friend," I hit his chest gently.

"Y/N, I didn't know you felt that way-"

"was I not obvious enough Hiro? I told you I liked a guy who was and looked just like you, I tried to be around you all the time, I got jealous when Kristy showed up, I can't believe you are that low to say you didn't know," I steam.

"I didn't think you liked me,"

"well, I don't, not anymore, I gotta go back the rest of my things," I remove my hands from his grip and scurry out of the building and back into my apartment. Slamming the door. THe sound echoing off the walls and bouncing off the small things that I haven't packed away. It's sad, how stupid I was.
