Three steps Y/N took until she reached the door. Her first day at a new job, a job which was a thousand miles away from the one she loved the most. As her hand went for the knob she stopped. Her mind rewinded.

"So you're leaving?" Hiro asked his voice breaking.

"It's work," Y/N uttered under her breath packing her belongings into a box.

"Work, just work, well what about us? What about all our memories are you just going to throw them away?" Hiro stammered angry.

"Hiro stop being so dramatic, I got a job in Delaware I actually like, can't you be happy for me?"

"I am happy for you, dammnit! I'm not happy that you're leaving us behind,"

"I never said we're breaking up just long distance until the company builds their workshop here, it'll only be 8 months," Y/N shrugged.

"8 months, 8 months of us growing apart, we'll be strangers by then,"

"You just don't want to try to make it work, Hiro," Y/N's face began to grow red.

"I want this to work more than anything in the world,Y/N, but I want you here, what if you find some laywer or talented musican? Huh? You'll forget all about me," Hiro stated.

"I'de never decieve you like that," Y/N shot her hands up in mock surrender.

"You don't know for sure," Hiro argued.

"I do know, but if you can't trust me then maybe we should just break up, forget all we went through together, start over seperatly," Y/N whispered.

"fine," Hiro replied back harshly. Y/N took her box quickly and descended the stairs. Hiro felt a pang of regret go through him and went after Y/N. He caught her hand just as she was about to go through the door.

"Don't do this, we can try," Hiro nodded sullenly.

"No we can't Hiro, you don't need to deal with the drama and neither do I, let's just start new after this,"

"I'll start new with you," Hiro tried to smile.

"No, not with me," Y/N took her hand from Hiro's and went on her way to Deleware. Her tears were visible as she drived but nothing would stop her from having the job she waited for.

Finally Y/N's hand touched the knob and turned.

"wait!" Hiro called out. Y/N squinted to look across the road. Hiro stood with a bouqet of flowers in his arms. "I was an idiot for not wanting you to do what you love, but I love you so much it was hard to let you go, I thought maybe we could start new, here, in Deleware, together?" Hiro handed Y/N the roses.

"Hiro, I-I" Y/N stuttered. "I'de love to," Y/N agreed and leapt in Hiro's strong arms. He swept her from her feet and kissed her strongly.

"I better get to work,"
