Your P.O.V
I normally whole heartdly enjoy weddings. The celebration of love. It's simply beautiful. But watching in the pews as my best friend smiles down at his soon-to-be wife, kills me. He never knew how I felt and I can't tell him now.
"Before we begin does anyone oppose ?" the preacher man asks. No one says a word. It's silent and the procession goes on. I blink slowly watching as the vows are traded between the two. I bit my lip and hold on. I can't cry, it's a wedding, not a funeral, be happy smile, happy tears, Y/N, not sad ones. Everything I say to myself only makes the urge to cry worse.
"I do," Hiro concludes, and then so does his now wife. Damnit, Y/N. Damnit, damnit, damnit. He's never yours and he never will be. The crowd hoops and hollers in joy as the coulpe happily run down the asile and out side. I have to make it through the reception or I will hear about it from Hiro. I get into my car and drive away to the venue. It's big and elaborate. I expected that, Hiro has a nice amount a money after his amazing inventions, inventions I helped him work on. OF course I let him get all the credit. Being shy attention is the last thing you want. I walk into the huge building, gorgeous lighting, gorgeous everything. The newly weds take their first dance. Then everyone joins in later to the dance floor. Everyone takes break between eating and dancing. I, however, being alone at a wedding, sit the entire time.
"Hey there pretty girl," Hiro coo's, tapping my shoulder so I look behind to him.
"Hey, Hiro," I smile. At least I attempt to .
"Are you alright I haven't seen you on the dancefloor," he takes the seat next to me. His new wife walks around talking to guests and taking pictures.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just shy, as usual," I shrug stabbing my food with a fork. I can't look into his eyes I know I'de break down.
"Don't be shy, Y/N, come on, dance with me," he pulls me up and out of my chair.
"Fine," I give in. A slow song begins and his strong arms wrap around my waist. I manevure my arms up around his neck. I sway with the music and stare at my feet.
"Hey, look at me," he whispers. I look up into his beautiful eyes and I feel a tear escape my eye. "What's wrong?" Hiro whips away the tear and studies me. He pulls me off the dance floor and into a private room. "Tell me what's wrong, please Y/N ?" he begs.
"I- it's nothing," I sigh.
"Y/N, i'm not leaving until you tell me," he takes off his blazer and throws it over a chair sitting down with his legs propped up.
"Hiro, it's your wedding your wife is probaubly worried sick,"
"My wife can wait," he snickers.
"Hiro, she's your wife," I retort.
"Ok, and she cheated I don't know how many times, she will be okay with me talking to you,"
"She cheated ?"
"Y/N, this isn't about me, come on tell me, what's wrong ?" he leans forward on his knees and stares up to me.
"Nothing, Hiro, I am fine," I annouceate.
"Y/N, you're a really bad liar,"he smirks meanly.
"You're mean,"
"I'm true, tell me," he grabs my hands and holds them. His big soft hands, I love and adore.
"I, I um, I like you, okay," I huff. His eyes shine brightly, he stands from his spot and tips my chin up.
"I love you," he murmurs softly.
"Hiro, you're married,"
"And I can get divorced," he leans in and his lips press against mine. He pulls me close to his warm toned body. Shivers of delights spiral down my back.
"I love you too Hiro,"
