A You're All I Want Kiss

Trunks couldn't stop staring at Pan. He was supposed to be ignoring her and pretending that she didn't exist. It's what his mother wanted him to do. It's what he told her he would do, but her presence was something that demanded his attention. She was all he could focus on and see.

She stood alone as she leaned against the stone hedge surrounding the hotel their classes were staying in for the night. The school was having a camping trip, which Trunks would have refused to go on - if not for the fact that Pan had come. It was one of the only events that the school hosted that allowed the day class and night class to coexist in doing the same activities.

"Alright!" A teacher from the night class spoke up. "Find a group and get going!" He pointed his thumb behind him towards the woods, where a trail snaked its way around the lake and back. It wasn't that long of a path, three miles at the most.

Trunks glanced back over at her, and she was still alone. Where was Marron? She had been there earlier, so maybe Pan was waiting on the older girl.

"Trunks-" something grabbed his wrist, and he turned to see a group of girls from the day class standing in front of him. They had told him their names countless times, but he could never remember them. "Will you join our group?"

He opened his mouth, a quick, snarky comment on the tip of his tongue before he shut his mouth. There was only one person he wanted to be in a group with, but he couldn't be with her.

"Sure," Trunks forced a smile on his face.

The girls squealed in delight and motioned for him for follow them. He turned, and his eyes widened as he saw Pan walking their way. His stomach twisted in anticipation - maybe she wanted to be in a group with him. His heart pounded as he stood still as he watched her walk closer. Her steps were slow and careful.

Trunks held his breath as Pan made it to him, but she didn't even look up as she walked past him. His eyes widened slightly; disappointment washed over him like he had been pushed into a freezing lake. He knew that he was the one that drove her away and that the distance between them was his fault. Still, he had expected - hoped, for something.

"Panna!" He turned around and called after her without thinking.

She turned towards him in surprise. Her dark eyes were wide and beautiful. Trunks remembered the first time he had ever seen her eyes. He thought he would get lost in the depths of them; he still felt that way.

"I-" Trunks began, and he let out a breath. "Are you waiting for Marron?" He asked. He wanted to slap himself for how ridiculous he sounded.

Pan furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Just- be careful out there," he told her softly. "There's protection spells around the boarders to keep everyone safe, but-"

"Trunks!" The girls from earlier called him, and he almost turned around and hissed at them.

"You better go," Pan's soft voice stopped him. He turned to look at her and saw her expression was closed-off. "Your fangirls are waiting," she said before she turned and walked away.

Trunks let out a heavy sigh as he watched Pan for a few seconds before he turned around and walked over towards the other girls. They started their walk, but Trunks wasn't paying attention to anything they were saying. His mind was too focused on Pan. Was she still waiting on Marron? Had they started their walk? How far were they?

"Trunks!" A hand waved over his face, and he blinked in surprise.

"Huh?" He looked at one of the girls.
