Chapter Seventy-Four: End of the Incident and the Truth

"I-is that so?" Kerz said habang inaayos ang kumot na binalot ko kay Prince Renz with Dravis as he supporting Prince Renz head so as not to bump.

"But still, this is a little bit.." Dravis said, " Yes, I know so I am sorry," I said as I act so regretfully.

"It's okay, Avy," Kerz said while Dravis nods, "Thank you," I said nakanapangiti ako no'ng hindi na nila ako tinignan pero agad din nawala ang ngiti ko when I looked at Ian.

"Anyways, Avy, why don't you rest since we manage to calm the incident. We can talk later about what happened," Kerz told me.

"Okay," I said before I closed my eyes habang nakaupo sa upuan na malapit kay Ian.

~~MEANWHILE~~

"Should we tell him the truth?" Kerz asked Dravis who is guarding the door while Kerz was near Prince Renz.

"Who? Avy or Prince Renz?" Dravis asked him, "Both of them, that it was Ian is their target, not the Royal members but they still create havoc which is to disperse their motive," Kerz said while looking outside.

"Well, in my opinion, it is better to tell them since I think they know something especially Avy who knows this incident will be held today," Dravis said as he looked at Avy who is sleeping.

"Yes, I thought so. I was really curious how did he know it?" Kerz said bago humarap kay Dravis at napatingin kay Avy. 

"We will know the answer to our questions later on," Dravis said, "Yeah," Kerz answered.

I woke up because of the noise I am hearing kaya napatingin ako sa paligid at nakita ko sina Kerz and Dravis preparing something, I think, since may mga plato sa table. I looked at Ian who is still peacefully sleeping while Prince Renz is also sleeping on the sofa.

"... you're awake," Kerz said. I turn around again to look at them and he is smiling at me while Dravis looked at me with his usual expression.

"..." I didn't utter nor smile. I don't know why but I just turn around again to look at Ian as I hold again his one hand.

"He is okay, Avy. He wakes up a while ago then sleeps again after he is done eating," Kerz said. Naramdaman kung may dumapong kamay sa balikat as if he is saying to me not to worry much.

"I look at him and smile, "Thanks," I said at tumingin muli kay Ian. Binitawan na niya ako at narinig ko naman ang paglayo niya sa akin. I can't stop worrying about Ian since siya na lang ang pamilyang tinuturing ko dito aside from Miary who treats me also part of her family but Ian is different dahil na kasama ko siyang lumaki sa lahat.

"Eat first, Avy," Dravis said. I looked at the plate with food na nasa harapan ko na hawak niya, "...okay," I said before I accepted the food. He looked at me with concern on his face so I just smiled at him but still his reactions remain.

Kinain ko ang pagkaing binigay sa akin kahit wala akong ganang kumain but I still need to eat. I slap my face dahil walang magagawa ang ginagawa kong pagiging tulala at pag-aalala kay Ian since he is saved now, and I need to know why are they targeting Ian if they know he is a Duke's son.

"Are you okay, Avy?" Napatingin ako kay Kerz sa tanong niya.

"Yes, I am okay. Sir Kerz, I will answer everything that you want to know," I said kaya naging seryoso ang tingin niya sa akin since I can't avoid their questions anyway.
