Chapter 139: The Parting; Farewell

"Why would you say that? I will not be going anywhere," I said as I touch his face kaya napatingin siya sa akin. He looks at me intently and I really love his blue eyes.

"It's just I feel like you are apologizing because of it,"

"Huh? Why would you think about that? Didn't we agree that we will win the war, right?"

"Yes, so I will tell you what I have something to say after the war,"

"Ha? Why? I want to hear it now,"

"I've decided to tell you after the war so you can look forward to it,"

Ian said and thinking that he will confess to her after the war while Avy felt sad because she couldn't hear what Ian was going to say but she doesn't want to alert him that she is going to do something by forcing him to tell her what it is since she knows that Ian will notice it but fortunately, he didn't think too much about my reason why I am asking for forgiveness so suddenly.

"Alright, I will look forward to it,"

I said as I smiled at him and he smiled at me as I look the sky since it will be the last that I will see the beautiful sky with Ian so I am cherishing this moment while I can as I hold his hands without looking at him but I felt he looks at me.

"Alright, I will look forward to it,"

She said as she looks at the sky as if she is cherishing this moment with me that I felt uneasy with her, although, I can't stop myself to smile while looking at her when she holds my hand without looking at me. I don't know but I feel like something bad will happen, or maybe there will be a war so I will definitely protect her as I imagine Avy smiling at me after the war like she always does every time we surpass any problem.

We remain silent for a couple of minutes when she looks at me kaya medyo nagulat ako sa kaniya dahil sa kaniya ako nakatingin at hindi sa kalangitan. She just smiled at me as if she was aware that I am staring at her the whole time.

"We should rest, Ian,"

She said as she pulls me with her as we enter her room at hinatid palabas ng kwarto niya.

"I'll see you tomorrow, then,"

I said before I let go of her hands as I smiled at her and she is smiling at me. I started to walk away when I felt her hugging me from behind kaya napatigil ako dahil sa pagkakayakap niya sa akin since I felt like it will be the last hug from her but I didn't it was since we will see tomorrow until the war before she will go back to the Winston Kingdom.

"Avy, do you know that you are making me out of control if you do that?"

"..."

She didn't answer but she just hug me kaya dahan dahan akong umikot para humarap sa kaniya, and I saw her face smiling at me.

"You should rest, Avy. I will see you tomorrow,"

I said as I kiss her cheek as I let go of her hug because I might not control myself and I might regret if I take this advantage.

"Alright, see you tomorrow,"

She said as she immediately closes her door so I walk away but why do I feel like I shouldn't let her go kaya napasabunot ako sa aking buhok dahil hindi ako mapakali pero bumalik na ako sa aking kwarto at agad na nahiga. Although I don't feel sleepy thinking about Avy since I noticed that she seems to hide something from me, I don't really mind, however, I felt uneasy thinking about her especially when she agreed immediately which is unlike her.
