Chapter Five:

After so many hours, we arrived at the Duke's Place and I quickly go out and shouted " At last, I've finally got out from that carriage!"

"You will be ----- from now on."

Chapter Five:

After I shouted, they looked at me and some are surprised because of my shout and I just said sorry kasi don ko lang napansin na nakatingin pala sila lahat sa akin. Pumasok na kami sa mala mansion na bahay, it is really different from the house of the Count because these is definitely higher status of nobles in the Winter. Also the things around is really expensive kasi may gold and diamonds ang ibang accessories tulad nalang ng vase nila is made of gold then some of them decorated by diamonds. Siguro pag binenta to mayaman na ako hahahah hindi ko na kailangang magtrabaho. Nagmumukha tuloy akong mukhang pera dito kasi pagbinenta ang mga ito ee tiba tiba kana. Lady Miary told me to wait at the tea room and she told to the maid to prepare some tea and light snack dahil kakain pa daw ng dinner kaya agad namang sumunod ang maid. I patiently wait for Lady Miary to come back kasi sabi niya kanina and I ask the maid who is serving me if where did Lady Miary did go. The maid said that Lady Miary was called by the Duke and I didn't ask anymore because I know na papagalitan siya dahil umalis siya ng hindi nagpapaalam at isang linggo na siyang hindi umuuwi ayon sa nabasa ko sa libro.

Ayon sa libro ay mapapagalitan siya at hindi siya pwedeng lumabas ng mansion ng isang buwan para magreflect sa kanyang ginawa at may bantay na isang knight na under sa kanyang ama. Kaya naman Lady Miary walk out from the Duke and the Duke gets more angry with her so he doesn't lift her punishment because of her attitude. Well the Duke will forgive her if she tells what did she do and where did she go in that seven days. Lady Miary did not told what she do and where did she go, well she just roam around and explore the outside places of the Winter Empire where the country side villages like where I came from. 

Lady Miary fetch me up to the dining room and andoon na ang Duke waiting for us. I greeted the Duke and he just nodded and told me to seat beside Lady Miary who is in silence. I feel the awkward atmosphere between them, we started to eat and all you can hear is the sound of the utensils. I can not focus on my food because the Duke is watching me as if he do a scan on me kaya parang feeling ko masama ang kain ko ngayong gabe. After the dinner, Lady Miary pulls me with her and we got out from the dining room. Thank goodness that she drag me out from that room with the Duke dahil hindi ko kakayaning magtagal doon. 

"I'm sorry, my fath-- no the Duke stares you while eating. I'll just send some snack in room so that you can eat properly." She said and I'm surprised that she knows because she looks like she is busy eating awhile ago.

"Nah, it's ok Lady Miary. I should be the one who awe you for dragging me out." I answered and she just smiled at me. She took me to my room and said that I should rest well. So I did what she told me because I also need to regain my energy so that I can roam around the city tomorrow. 

Lady Miary's Point of View:

After I've escorted Avy to his room, I go to my fath-- the Duke's office. 

-knock knock-

"Come in." so I open the door and face my father.

"What?" he said while busy signing the papers and I just stare him waiting to stop what is he doing. Then he put down his pen and look at me.

"So what do you need?" he said to me with his poker face.

"I'll tell you what I did and do in the past days but in one condition." I said and he look at me seriously. He scan my expression and I sighed.
