TWISTED FATE OF THE KNIGHT

Chapter Nine:

I was at Lady Miary's door waiting for her to come out to have a dinner. I nervously knock on her door but no respond. I knock again and I call her but still no respond. Maybe she's already at the dining hall.

"Avy!!!! wait you idiot! Where do you think your going?!" she shouted at me as she hold my collar with her angry face. At ako naman napaiwas ng tingin dahil ang lapit ng kanyang muka kaya nakakailang siyang tignan ng deritso. Her face was slightly pinkish when she let go of my collar and cannot look at me when I faced her. Tila natameme ang kaninang galit sakin na ngayong parang batang nahihiya. 

"Lady Miary I want to apologize earlier in yo-----hmp" she stopped me from speaking and she glared me as she look at the maids behind her. I got it when she release her hands on my mouth.

"Avy lets talk after dinner so watch you mouth if you don't want to be punished" she whispered at my ears as she walks first to the dining hall. I don't have a problem sa nangyari since I'm a girl pero dahil akala niyang lalaki ako kaya ang awkward para sa kanya. Well, ano kaya magiging reaction niya pag nalaman niyang babae ako. Hahahaha I really want to know but I know that it can't be because that can be considered as treason.

We arrived at the dining hall and we bumped into the duke, we greeted him before we seated, oh I forgot to tell that the Duke and Lady Miary treated me as family that's why I was eating with them. kahit na ayoko sana dahil malaki na ang utang na loob ko sa kanila but Lady Miary insists that I should dine with them or else she will marry me when we are younger that time so I don't have any choice to dine with them than to get married. The duke adores his daughter so he did not have choice to give what she wants so I ended up here even if I was just a commoner knight because of that threat by Lady Miary. I cannot imagine I am going to marry a girl. I feel like I want to puke by thinking of that memories. Grrr.

We eat silently and the Duke break the silence, " Miary how's the tea party of the Duchess?" he asked.

"It's ok. Nothing is special." she answered as she finished her dessert.

"Avy prepare all the things you need tomorrow including the reminders for the knights. We should not make any mistakes for assisting the crown prince arrival." the duke asked me.

"Yes sir." I answered and we continue to eat. After eating, Lady Miary and I went to her room. At dali dali niyang sinabihan ang mga maids niyang magpahinga na including her own maid. 

"Avy, lets forget what happened earlier. I know both of us do not want to get married, dont you?" sabi niya kaya naman napatango nalang ako dahil ayoko talaga. 

"Then don't tell anyone of what happen, okay or else." she said habang nagsign siya nag gigilitan ang aking leeg kaya naman napalunok ako ng wala sa oras.

"Oo na. Huwag naman ganyan Lady Miary parang wala naman tayong pinag samahan ng tatlong taon. I even help you getting out of trouble and to your father when going to a vacation." sabi ko kaya naman bigla niya akong tinignan ng masama at alam ko nang seryoso siya at hindi nakikipagbiruan.

"Sabi ko nga tatahimik na." sabi ko kaya nawala na ang masamang tingin niya sa akin.

"Siguraduhin mo lang na wala kang pagsasabihan lalo na sa Duke kung hindi baka tuluyan tayong makasal sa isa't isa." sabi niya

"Don't worry Lady Miary, I won't tell any word about this incident. And I really don't want to be wed with you, even if you are the only woman living here in the world. I'd rather be single in my whole life." sagot ko at tinignan siya.
