TWISTED FATE OF THE KNIGHT

Chapter Eight:

"Lady Miary don't worry I can handle myself and even after the meeting I will not see you as them since I've been here with you for 3 years and I know that you are a different from those I met. Even though you always make trouble when you are with me that makes pain in the ass to take care of your fits." I said then I received another punched but in the shoulders.

"Who said I am concern with you? I am just concerned what will they say if you do bad at the palace!Hmp." she said as she walked away. Geezz she's always like that, so I started to walk out from the state and put a robe to hide my knight outfit while I am walking to the town to take a carriage.

After an hour, I arrive at the center of the town as I looked at the time and it is already past 8 am. I'm going to have a breakfast near pub where you can hire a carriage. Pumasok na ako sa isang kainan malapit sa sakayan para makasakay agad ako pagkatapos kong kumain. Wala pang masyadong tao kasi maaga pa kaya naman mabilis nilang naihanda ang aking kakainin. After I ate my breakfast I ride the empty carriage and told my destination near the palace.

I get down from the carriage and walk through the palace. I already remove my robe so that I can easily go in as I passed through some knight and I can feel that they are talking about me as I passed them. Hindi na ako magtataka kung bakit nasabi ni Lady Miary, well I am here to do my job and not to hear those gossips about me. I go straight to the room where Lady Miary went yesterday. Kumatok muna ako bago pumasok and saw Marquess Alfinos or Ronan seating at the sofa.

" Good day, Marquess Alfinos. I am here to assist you on behalf of the Duke as the commander of his knights." I said. He just looked at me and parang pinag aaralan ako.

"I thought you will not coming since Lady Miary is not with you. Good morning Sir Avy." he said as he grins. Aba gusto ko atang manapak kung hindi lang ganyan ugali niya .hmp.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you sir but whether she's with me or not I will fulfill my duty that was given to me." I said straight to his face. Akala mo siguro hindi ko kayang makipag usap ng harapan.

"Oh? then let's proceed with the things to prepare." sabi niya kaya naman pinag usapan na namin ang mga dapat gawin at ako ang susundo sa mahal nilang prinsipe kasama na si Ian na siyang makikita ko. Sana ay mamukhaan niya ako kahit na nag iba na ako ng kulay ng buhok at hair style at tumangkad konti. While listening to him is not that bad since he's smart and I like talking to him in this case but not for a casual conversation because he is a jerk. "Since you are here on behalf of the Duke then I expect that you will do good because the Duke entrust you for this job." sabi niya, ayan nanaman tayo sa pananalita niya. Kakatapos lang namin mapag-usapan ang mga gagawin.

"Don't worry Marquess Alfinos. I will do my job properly so that I can reach your standards." I answered confidently as I sipped to my tea.

"I didn't really expect you can catch up to me with my plans and you even suggest the best way to do. Are you really not a noble?" He said. Yan nanamang tanong.

"Thank you for the compliment Marquess Alfinos. I am not a noble." sagot ko. Kaya naman tinignan niya ako.

"That's a shame. You even have the brains despite of being a lowborn knight." he said. Blah blah naasar na ako jan ano bang problema nila why just can't they treat equal or if not equal sana naman they respect people.
