Chapter 131: Luke's resolve

"You sure knows how to handle sword when I thought you are more well-handling bow and arrows,"

"Well, a sword was my original weapon but because I don't want to compete with him so I uses bow and arrow more,"

"Is it your brother? Rival? Friend?"

"It's not your business,"

Ronan nearly sliced the black thing as the black thing releases smokes again kaya napaubo at pikit si Ronan dahil sa biglaang paglabas ng usok at agad din siyang umatras when the black thing approaches him as it releases black arrows from its center.

"Argh!"

Hinaing ni Ronan dahil sa tama niya sa kaliwang balikat at kanang paa kaya napaluhod siya kasabay ng pagkawala ng usok sa paligid niya.

"You only got hit two? You are skillful,"

The black thing approaches him kaya naman agad na lumayo si Ronan kahit na medyo hirap siyang gumalaw dahil sa tama niya.

"I already warned you, Young man. I only need the kid but you interfere, however, I can still let you live because it is a waste to let you die in this place,"

The black thing is said as it approaches Luke who still doesn't have consciousness but Ronan immediately attacks him but immediately dodge kahit na hindi ito nakaharap sa kaniya kung saan makikita ang center no'ng black thing that looks like a cloud and smoke surrounding it.

"You do want to die that badly for his sake? Then, I guess I don't have a choice to kill you first. Any last words?"

"..."

Ronan didn't utter a word as he kneels down on the ground because the wound where the black arrows stabbed him was bleeding non-stop.

The black thing prepares to attack Ronan with black arrows again and immediately releases the arrows when Kilden immediately grabs him away from being attacked.

"Your Highness..."

"That was a close one, Marquis Ronan. Thank me later with gratitude,"

Kilden smirks at Ronan while Ronan looks at him annoyed as he covers his wounds with his handkerchief.

"So, is this the one that Prince Renz is talking about?"

"It seems so, Your Highness,"

Ronan answered bluntly as he stands up properly at tumabi kay Kilden kaharap ang kalaban nila.

"Just take Luke to a safe place. Let me handle this before I'll hear your explanation why is Luke not in the evacuation area,"

Ronan didn't answer but nodded as he approaches the unconscious Luke lying on the ground.

"Your Highness, you better return unscratched, and I will be back,"

"Don't worry, and go,"

Kilden answered as he attacks the black thing in front of him when Ronan carries Luke on his back since the black thing moves as if it doesn't let Ronan and Luke get away from him.

"Don't you dare take away that kid!"

The black thing said as he tries to follow Ronan as Kilden block him.

"Don't ignore me since I can't let you pass until to defeat me."

Kilden was a bit annoyed for being ignored as he blocks the black thing, and he managed to block everything and stops him from catching up to Ronan.

Meanwhile, Ronan was walking away from there, and he saw the evacuation area since he is losing blood which made his eyes blurry. 

Luke is gaining consciousness while he was at the back of Ronan.

"Sir Ronan?"

"You gain consciousness?"

Ronan said even though he is dizzy as he puts down Luke from his back and Luke immediately supports Ronan when he is about to fall.

"Are you oka-- You have wounds?!"

Luke immediately calls for help when he saw that they are near the evacuation area and his colleagues immediately help them bring Ronan to tend his wounds.

"He loses too much blood. We need to heal him immediately,"

One of the followers said who check Ronan's condition as Luke help them to heal Ronan since he already lose consciousness.

Luke was one of the healers who has a higher affinity for healing healed Ronan along with the other healers to stop the bleeding from Ronan's wounds since it is not an ordinary wound because of the black mana which prevents the wounds to close.

"Young Master Luke, please rest,"

One of the healers said to Luke since Luke doesn't want to stop healing Ronan since they are still healing him but Luke is not well that his mana is becoming weak.

"No, I am okay since only a little bit more his wounds will be close,"

"Alright,"

Luke tried his best to hang on kahit na iniisip niya kanina ang nangyari bago siya himatayin at napahamak si Ronan dahil sa kaniya which makes him more guilty but then he remembered Kiana told him.

'I promise to fulfill what you want, Kiana,'

Luke told himself after they are done closing Ronan's wound as he gain his rationale.

"Please take care of him. I need to go somewhere,"

"Wait, Young Mast---"

Luke immediately leaves the evacuation area as he goes to the place where Kiana told her where Avy was.

Luke carefully went to the place as he slowly opens the door of one of the forbidden buildings of the Holy Church where only the High Priest is allowed to enter since it was the place where all the next High Priest last procedure or method to acknowledge that you are the next High Priest.

"...I didn't think that they entered this place since death is the penalty for entering here,"

Luke said as he slowly close the door and immediately look for Avy as he saw her lying on a bed at the center of the altar.

"Avy!"

He unconsciously called her as he runs towards her, and saw her who looks like peacefully sleeping pero napakunot siya no'ng napansin niyang mas pumutla si Avy kaya naman hinawakan niya ang kamay ni Avy.

"Why is it cold?"

Luke immediately check her pulse, and he sighed in relief when he felt a faint pulse, and he immediately heals her pero walang nagbago sa itsura ni Avy at kanyang pulso which makes Luke panic dahil humihina ang pulso ni Avy.

"What should I do?! Argh!"

He panics as he walks back and forth in front of Avy as he remembered that the High Priest that he was been transferring mana to Avy for the past few days pero hindi niya alam kung paano since hindi siya pinapapasok doon but he heard Kilden talking about the High Priest accidentally.

"How to do it? I don't have time to look for the High Priest. Should I just manipulate my mana while holding her hands?"

Luke holds her hand which is a little bit colder as he tried to manipulate his mana from his hand to  Avy's hand.
