Chapter Twenty- Seven: The Hunting Event

I woke up and look at the time since I didn't know that I sleep after I lay down and it was 4 am in the morning. So, I got up already since hindi na ako makatulog dahil ang haba din ng tulog ko mula kahapon kaya naman maganda ang mood ko ngayon. Kumbaga nakakundisyon ang pangangatawan ko sa hunting na magaganap mamaya.

Since things are already pack-up kaya naman wala na akong magawa. Naglakad lakad nalang ako to kill time and I stop by the training ground where I can see the sun rises. Dimadama ko ang malamig na simoy ng hangin habang nakapikit na tila ba ako'y nasa ibang lugar dahil bukod sa ang tahimik ay nakakagaan ng pakiramdam. Napalingon naman ako ng may kumalabit sa akin at si Gin na magsisimulang mag training. He asks me if I would like to join him but I refuses since after the hunting I will be exhausted kaya naman hindi ako masyadong nag exercise kanina.

Kakarating namin dito sa Hunting Event Venue na hindi masyadong malayo sa Kingdom. Halos apat na oras din kaming nagtravel papunta dito kaya naman tinulungan kong magset-up sila Gin ng kampo nila since tatlong araw din kaming mamamalagi dito. The Hunting event will last for 3 nights and 4 days and the last day will be the Awarding Ceremony which will be awarded to have the privilege to work in the imperial palace as a knight or officials for the 2nd and 3rd place. As for 1st place will be awarded to have the privilege to chose where he will be going to serve and the champion will be awarded to have the privilege to asks a wish or favor to the Emperor. 

At syempre hindi mawawala ang mga young noble lady's to join the hunting event since the champion of the hunting will offer his 'harvest' of his chosen lady and that Lady will be given the title of 'Charismatic and Beauty Alluring' and have the chance to be chosen as the Crown Princess as well or she can work for the Crown Princess that will be the future Empress of the kingdom.

Note: 'Harvest' is what they call for the animals that they caught

Kaya madaming umattend dahil dito at syempre kahit ako ay sasali if ever since the 'harvest' will be a huge amount of money kapag binenta mo ang mga iyon since the animals have also had magic stones kaya naman isa iyon ang dahilan nila aside from having the privilege of being a crown princess. At syempre medyo mahirap ang manghuli ng mga hayop since they are not the normal animals kasi may mga magic stones sila so hindi basta bastang makakahuli unless you are strong enough to have them killed in one shot/slash. 

At syempre hindi mawawala ang bigayan ng lucky charm such as laces/handkerchief sa mga sasali sa hunting mamaya bago magsisimula kaya naman iyong iba ay busy sila kung sino ang bibigyan nila ng laces. Of course, don't expect Lady Miary to make some of it since she herself will be joining kaya naman sure ako doon kasi never naman siyang gumawa kahit noong hindi pa siya sumasali noon para sa tatay niya or I should say the Duke. 

After I helped them to build for the camp, we are gathered in front of the entrance of the venue for the announcement since the Royal family has arrived. We greeted the Royal family as they went to the front. The Emperor went up the stage to give his regards about the event at hindi na niya papatagalin ang pagsasalita since he knows that everyone is excited about the event and he said to us to do our best and enjoy the hunting before goes down, he said that the hunting will be started in an hour to have the time to prepare and give the chance for the Lady's to give their laces of their chosen participants.
