Chapter 117: Betrayed

"How many days I am sleeping?"

I asked them after I let go of Lady Miary, and ask Ian to help me to get up, and let me sit down on the sofa since I felt my feet are starting to numb.

"You sleep for almost two weeks,"

Ian answered as he prepares a tea while Lady Miary who is seating across me wiping her tears.

"What?! Did I sleep that long?!"

I said na muntikan ko pang maibuga ang iniinom ko since kakakuha ko ng tsaa ko kay Ian pero tumingin sila sa akin ng seryoso so I think they are telling me the truth but I didn't think that I slept that long.

"... not exactly sleeping since Philip said that you were in a coma. He didn't diagnose anything wrong aside from the bruises, and he can't determine what is the cause for your coma. Although, he said that you might ... if you remain like that since your mana is slowly draining as the day goes by,"

Ian said kaya napatahimik ako sa sinabi niya since I didn't expect that I will be dead this time if I didn't wake up from that slumber.

I asked Ian as I looked at him since I remembered that I passed out before that thing attack me so I don't know what happened.

Ian sighed before the talk, "He vanished after you attack it..." He said pero pakiramdam ko may katuloy pa ang sinabi niya since he opened his mouth but chooses not to continue as he frown a little.

"Vanished? so it didn't die,"

I said with my voice a little disappointment since hindi ito sigurado kung namatay, then I have the chance to get my revenge. Again, I remembered Ash who just protected me and died because of me.

"Avy, are you okay?"

I looked at Lady Miary with her eyes worriedly looking at me while Ian also looked at me with a worried expression on his face kaya nagtataka akong napatingin sa kanila.

"Avy, I am sorry. I didn't save him,"

Ian said.

"Huh?"

"Ash will definitely be sad if you keep crying, Avy,"

Lady Miary said as she wipes the tears from my cheeks that I didn't notice kaya napahawak ako sa mga pisngi ko. I wipe my cheeks as I smile at them since they looked so sad and worried.

Lady Miary as she hugs me that I didn't notice that she was at my side while caressing my head kaya hindi ko napigilang umiyak pero pigil ang pag-iyak ko.

I said as I let go of her. I don't have time to be sad, and weak since I need to make sure that the black thing or Ash contractor will die so Ash will not meet that trash. 

"How was the case of the Empress?"

I asked them seriously since I need to get information about that black thing since the Empress was affiliated with it so I might find some way to know who it is.

"It was settled after the floating thing vanished, and we found out all the crimes that the Empress committed including the second attempt of poisoning the Crown Prince but it turned out that he didn't drink the poison.
