TWISTED FATE OF THE KNIGHT

Chapter Four:

Lady Miary removed my hands from her shoulders and turn away from me as her maid shouting her name with the knights of the Count and the Count Lex is here. He looks worried and he gets down from the carriage as he hugged Lady Miary.

"Are you okay Miary?!" He asks her. "I'm okay, Uncle. Thanks to Avy, he help me beat those guys." she answered while looking at me and I was ready to go kasi nakaalis na 'yong kaninang sasakyan ko at maghihintay nanaman akong mapuno bago makaalis at napupuno na 'yong sunod. I just bowed to them and signed that I need to go already while pointing the local carriage that is ready to go anytime. 

I left them to depart to the next village however when I was to hop in the carriage someone grab me from behind and I fall down onto the ground. 

"Ahww." I murmured. Magagalit sana ako nang makita kong si Lady Miary ang humila sa akin pababa sa karwahe. She looks teary eyed as she looked at me. I was gonna asked her what does she wants from me but then she hugged me.

"Do you really need to go? I need to repay you for helping me. Ayokong magkaroon ng utang na loob sa taong hindi ko na makikita. It will hurt my noble status if I don't give you proper gratitude!" she said, then what about the hug?! She only think of her nobility. darn nobles who does do as they want to do. Humiwalay ako ng pagkakayakap niya at sinabing okay lang, hindi na kailangan kasi pinatuloy niya ako sa bahay ng uncle niya. 

"That is not enough to pay you so can you come with me to go home?" she said with her girly attitude as if she does not beat those guys, ughhh I want to refuse but based on her personality she will not stop until I will go with her. Hindi ko namalayan na nakaalis na ang karwaheng sasakyan ko ulit kaya naman tinalikuran ko siya at daling tinanong yong tsuper o 'yong nagbabantay doon kung meron pang sunod pero sinabing iyon na ang huling bibyahe sa sunod na village. Ako naman ay nawalan ng buhay kasi kailangan kong mag palipas ulit ng gabi dito at sinalubong naman ako ni Lady Miary with her wide smile as if she is expecting that I will go back with disappointment.

"So will you come with me?"She asks me and I feel like that she plans these to happen. Damn nobles who has a lot of money and has authority -.-. 

"Yessss as if I have the choice. You planned for this so that I will come with you." I answered defeated.

"I didn't do anything and why would I do that, right?" she asks to her maid as she look her maid na sumagot ng maayos kung hindi na tingin and her maid answered her 'yes' with her voice is stuttering and nervous as she bows down.

"Yeah, yeah." I said then she dragged me to the carriage where Count Lex is waiting for us. 

I seated with Lady Miary and we are facing the count. Tahimik lang akong nakaupo at nakatingin sa labas habang si Lady Miary naman ay natutulog at si sir Count naman ay busy sa pagbabasa ng mga dokumento. 

After 30 minutes, we arrived at the house and Lady Miary is sleeping peaceful at my side. The Count call for a knight and brought Lady Miary inside. Nahiya naman ako kasi hindi ko siya binuhat but I can't do that because I am a freaking girl and my strength is not enough to lift a person at my size. Siguro napansin naman niya na hindi ko kayang buhatin si Lady Miary, kaya naman nagpasensya nalang ako then the Count said no worries since I help her niece at the town earlier. Still, I feel guilty kasi I have to act like a man since I lived for it but I think hindi ko pa nagagawang mabuti although I act boyish at my world.

Pumasok na kami sa bahay at hinatid ako sa room ko habang naghahanda sila ng hapunan. Nahiga naman agad ako sa kama at umidlip. 

"knock, knock" 

"Sir Avy? the dinner is ready." 

I heard a knock and someone calling for me, bumangon ako at inopen ko ang pinto. The maid of Lady Miary who was calling me and I said na susunod ako kasi may aayusin pa ako saglit, tsaka naman tumango at umalis. Dali akong nagpalit ng damit at bumaba and they are waiting for me. I said sorry for being late and they don't have to wait for me a mere ordinary person without status but the Count that it doesn't matter because eating with everyone is a good practice no matter the status if you are a visitor. I smiled and thank them, bago kami nagsimulang kumain.
