I couldn't believe my eyes as I read his name. Eric Singer. I immedeatly remembered the first time I saw him, when he walked down the hallway in high school.

~Flashback~

I walked towards my locker to get my books, but from afar I could already see the three troublemaker leaning against it. Thomas, Robert and Stanley. I sighed and came to a stop in front of them. "Excuse me? You're standing in front of my locker. Could you please move, so I can get my books?", I asked and they laughed.

"Why should we? So the nerd can get her books? I thought you're so smart, then why do you need the books?", Thomas asked and I gulped. I really looked like a nerd, but I needed my braces and my glasses! (If you aren't wearing glasses, just pretend you did in high school) "Just move out of the way please. There are enough other lockers to lean against.", I tried again. "Doesn't matter, yours is just very comfy.", Thomas answered and the other two just laughed.

I sighed and tried to push him away, but he didn't move. He was much taller and definitly stronger than me. "Now what are you doing nerdy?", he asked a little angry. "She is trying to get her books, remember? So she can waste her time with learning.", Robert chimed in and Thomas smiled. "Right! Well, some have fun with friends and some doesn't have friends.", he said laughing. "Atleast I can get a job later and doesn't need to live with my mum until I'm forty! What are you gonna do with your live bird brain?", I asked angrily and instantly regretted it.

"What did you just call me?", Thomas asked, getting away from the locker and towering in front of me. I shrinked away, pressing my back to the lockers behind me. "I think she said you've got a bird brain.", Stanley said. Then Thomas grabbed my collar. "Nobody calls me names!", he growled in my face. Just as I thought he would hit me there was another voice. "Hey guys, there you are! Want to go mess with the director? I've got the keys."

I could look around Thomas and there he stood. Eric, the fourth troublemaker. Atleast he wasn't picking on other students. "You're lucky nerd. Consider this a warning! Next time it won't be like this.", Thomas said, before letting go of my collar, making me fall to the ground. "Alright lets go boys!"  Thomas called and they began walking away. Eric looked over his shoulder towards me and as he saw that I was alright, he turned around again, disappearing into the crowd.

That seemed to always happen when I got in trouble. In some way he was always able to prevent me getting hurt, by always being there at just the right time. But I got a crush on him since the first time I laid eyes on him and searched his presence, getting into more and more trouble. Even though he always saved me, he barely ever spoke a word to me. On some days I thought he didn't even want to prevent me getting hurt. I was just some nerd and not really considered beautiful. I wasn't ugly either but there were enough pretty girls at school, so why would he care about me?

~Flashback end~

After high school I never saw him again. That didn't change anything about my feelings. My braces came out a week after I graduated and I barely wear glasses anymore. Now I worked as an event manager and I got to plan a KISS-concert. I held the info of the band in my hand, his name catching my eye immedeatly. He is the drummer of the band now, I heard their last drummer just passed because of cancer. So in three days I'm gonna see Eric again. I felt butterflies in my stomach at the thought and couldn't wait for the day to come.

The day actually came faster than expected and now I stood at the venue, waiting for the band to arrive. Just as I was checking the dressing room, the door opened and the four men walked in. First Paul Stanley, followed by Gene Simmons and Bruce Kulick. The last one to enter was Eric. He had blonde hair now, but his blue eyes were still the same. Looking right into my soul, making me shiver.
