I knew that this day would come. He was dead as well as most of my crew and I desperately tried to get away from the ship, towards land to hide my treasure. Being a female pirate captain wasn´t always easy but I had made up my reputation quickly. The whole sea quivered in fear when they heard the name Arvilla Fiske. But now my crew turned against me, killing most of the crew that was on my side and injured me badly. I grabbed the treasure chest that I kept hidden from the crew, holding the most valuable thing I ever owned and jumped on one of the rowing boats and made my way to the island I decided to hide it at.

The blood running out of the wound on my shoulder was making it hard to keep rowing but the island getting nearer and nearer kept me going. After what felt like eternity I made it to the island and climbed out of the boat, taking the big, heavy chest with me. I carried the chest towards a cave I accidentaly found one day, deciding to hide it there. Heavily breathing I got to the hiding spot and began digging a little hiding the chest under some sand, getting a scrap of pergament out of my coat afterwards, quickly scribbling a map out to tell someone where to find it. Hopefully it would fall into the hands of a descendant of mine sometime. With that thought in mind, I let the map fall into a bottle, corked it and layed it next to me. The flood would take it with it as soon as the cave would be flooded next time.

With that I smiled and took my last breath, having lost too much blood. But atleast now I could see him again.

I was just cleaning my attic, when the door bell rang. I sighed and put the broom to the side I had used to clean some dust off of the stuff sitting there. I dusted off my hands on my pants and walked to the door, wondering who it could be. When I opened it, I stood face to face with my best friend Gene. "Oh, hey Gene. What are you doing here?", I asked surprised, while he smiled at me. "What, do I need a reason to visit my best friend now?", he asked and I laughed, shaking my head. "Of course not, come in. I´m just cleaning up my attic a little.", I said, stepping aside.

He walked in and closed the door behind him, following me up to the attic. He looked around some, looking impressed. "Wow you´ve got a lot of cool stuff up here.", he said and I laughed. "Well theres a lot of stuff from my parents, grandparents and maybe other ancestors up here.", I said, opening an old wooden trunk and searching through it. "Huh, thats weird....", I mumbled, pulling out a greenish bottle with a rolled up piece of paper in it.

"What´cha got there sweetheart?", Gene asked, making me blush a little. I sat down on the floor and looked at the bottle, Gene sitting next to me. "Don´t know looks like a message in a bottle.", I answered, grabbing the cork and unscrewing it. I shook the paper out of the bottle, unscrolling it. In beautiful, wavy writing there was written a name. Arvilla Fiske. More important, it said the treasure of Captain Arvilla Fiske. "A treasure? Arvilla Fiske? Do you know someone with that name?", Gene asked, looking at the drawn map as well.

"It kind of rings a bell, I might have heard it before. Wait a moment.", I answered, standing up from the ground and walking to a few boxes in the back. I searched through a few of them before finally finding what I searched for behind those boxes. "Could you help me here Gene?", I asked and he stood up, walking towards me. "What do you need help with?", he asked and I pointed to a covered object behind the boxes. "Could you get that out there for me?", I asked and he smiled, grabbing it and pulling it out from behind the heavy boxes.

"What is it?", he asked and I smiled, pulling off the dusty sheet making me cough a little. "My great grandma showed me that as a child. It´s supposed to show an ancestor of my family, the first ever female pirate captain. I think that that is captain Arvilla Fiske. Would make sense that the map and her portrait is in my familys posession.", I said and Gene looked at the portrait with wide eyes. "You are definitly her descendant! I mean look at that portrait! It could be you dressed up as a pirate!", Gene said and I smiled.
