#5 Ace Frehley x Reader

Y/N P.O.V

Since a few months I noticed Ace disappearing in the evenings. He said he needs to do something important but wouldn't tell me what. I trusted him enough to not cheat on me and since he completed rehab a few weeks ago, I knew he wouldn't go out to drink.

I never asked cause I thought that he maybe wanted it to be secret so he could surprise me. But nothing happened and the last two days, he stayed with me the whole night.

Ace P.O.V

Since two days I set it on diet and already I got complaints. I tried to ignore it the best I could and it actually worked.

~Timeskip~

Since one and a half weeks I didn't do my dirty night business and it complained constantly and very loud. I grew more and more irritated but wouldn't budge. But that night, when it threatened to break the bond between us and bring chaos over the city I had enough.

The next morning I instantly left the house and drove to the library to search a way to get rid of it. I saw my girlfriend Y/N look out the window confused and worried while I drove off. I felt bad for not telling her but I wanted to keep her safe and away from this hell.

I searched the books the whole day, it laughing at me at this futile attempt. I ended up taking some books home with me, hiding them in my office. When I crawled into bed beside Y/N, she stirred slightly. "Where did you go? I was worried.", she asked sleepily, turning towards me.

I smiled at her, laying down on my pillow. "I needed to do some important stuff and I'm not done yet. But I want to sleep now, so I'm continueing tomorrow.", I whispered and she sighed. "Are you ever going to tell me what you do?", she asked and I smiled, wrapping my arms around her. "Maybe. Now go back to sleep, I'll stay with you.", I said and she settled down, snuggling into my chest.

The next morning, after having a lot of nightmares that night, something felt off. I needed a moment to register that it was gone. I panicked and jumped out of bed, startling Y/N awake. "What happened? Is everything alright Ace?!", she asked worried, still half asleep. "Nothings wrong sweetheart. I just need to see Paul right now. See you later!", I said, pecking her lips hastily, before leaving the house in a rush. I decided it was time to talk to someone about it and it's Paul whom I trust the most.

A few minutes later I arrived at Pauls house, ringing the doorbell repeatedly, until a tired looking Paul opened the door. "Ace? What is the problem so early in the morning? Did something happen to Y/N?", he asked groggily, rubbing his eyes. "I need to talk to you. Y/N is fine but I need to let you in on a secret I kept too long and you're the only one I can trust with this.", I answered and he sighed, letting me inside his house.

"Why can't you trust Y/N with that?", he asked, closing the door and walking to his living room with me. "It would put her in great danger. The same goes for you but I'm sure that it wouldn't dare touch you.", I answered and he looked at me confused while sitting down. "It? What do you mean?", he asked and I sighed. "Do you remember when we explored that old cabin we found?", I asked him and he nodded. "Well it wasn't empty like we thought, it was in there."

~One year ago~

Paul, Gene, Peter and I were walking in the woods, looking for inspiration when we found that strange looking, old cabin. "Look at that, you think there's still somebody living in that?", Peter asked, pointing to the cabin. "Yeah, rats and bugs!", Paul answered and I snickered. "Could also be an old witch!", I chimed in and Gene grinned at me. "Or some spooky demons!", he added. "Well, lets find out!", Peter suggested, walking towards it. "You think it's a good idea?", Paul asked worried. "Someone's scared?", Gene asked him grinning and Paul just huffed annoyed, before walking towards the cabin himself.
