Ever since the war against heaven began every demon, including me and my best friend Gene, needed to fight the armys of angels. I just came back from my first fight and stitched up some wounds while Gene took care of his own injurys. "These angels are real assholes. One stabbed me with a sword. A real sword!", I complained as I finished stitching the wound on my shoulder from said sword. "Well they dislocated my hip so I guess you're lucky.", Gene answered, popping his hip back into place. "I tell you, next time I stand in front of one of those winged asses I will pull out every feather on their wings slowly and painfully, until they beg for death!", I grumbled with rage, making Gene smirk.

"Alright. But remember that you´ve got wings as well! They could do the same to you!", Gene said, stretching a little. "Well they need to catch me first! You know I´m fast. Why don´t we go and train a little? Maybe a little flying race?", I asked with a smirk and Gene laughed. "Alright but don´t cry when I beat your ass!", he said, unwrapping his wings. "Oh I won´t. Cause you will be the looser!", I answered, unwrapping my wings aswell and taking off into the hallway. "Hey, not fair!", I heard Gene call after me and then follow.

We were never really told why we were fighting against heaven but that didn´t matter to me or any other of the demons. We just followed Lucifers command and I guessed the angels didn't know any more, following the orders of God or Michael. After that first fight of mine there was a break. Noone attacked the others for almost two weeks and it seemed suspicious. Officialy Lucifer and Michael talked about ending the war but I didn't really believe it.

And then there was the day that Gene and I were ordered to take out two angels that walked into our territory. "You ready Y/N?", Gene asked, standing in front of our training hall. "Yeah, just a moment.", I answered, slipping into my second boot, before standing up and unwrapping my wings. "Now I'm ready. Lets go kill some angels!", I said smirking and Gene smirked back. He unwrapped his wings and we both leaped into the air, flying towards the last spot the angels were seen at.

"How dare they even walk into our territory? Thats just rude.", I said angrily, making Gene chuckle. "Maybe they just got lost or they got ordered to spy a little. Either way they will be ashes on the ground when we are finished with them.", Gene said and I nodded. "You're right. Lets just hope that it aren't higher ranked angels. Or else they gonna burn us to ashes.", I said as we arrived at the spot they were last seen at.

"Are they walking? Look there are footsteps in the sand!", Gene asked confused and as I looked closely, I really could see footsteps leading deeper into our territory. "Then we must've flewn past them. Lets follow the footsteps and stop them before they reach the headquarter.", I said, following the footsteps. We flew high so they wouldn't see us coming right away.

"There! See those two spots in the distance? That must be them.", I said, pointing towards the two figures walking in the distance. "Alright, then lets get this done!", Gene said, gaining up speed. I catched up with him, flying next to him focused on the two figures that got bigger and bigger. "Alright you take the short one and I take the tall one!", Gene said and I nodded. I focused on the short one with bouncing, curly, dark hair, flying towards him at full speed.

He suddenly stopped and turned around, just as I tackled him to the ground, holding onto the collar of his jacket, while creating a fireball in my other hand, aiming it at him. "Are you aware that you stepped into Lucifers territory little angel?", I growled at him, while he looked at me frightened. "We....we are lost and trying to find our way back!", he said, holding up his hands as good as he could. "Don't you know that angels don't lie?", I asked, readying myself to throw the fireball at him.

But then he began to laugh, catching me offguard and flipping me over. Now he sat above me, holding onto the collar of my shirt and making a ball of light appear in his other hand. "Caught me there demon! But even though we aren't supposed to lie we are still capeable of that.", he said, winking at me.
