Chapter 30-Waking up to a disaster

My eyes slowly fluttered opened and a soft groan slipped from my mouth at the feeling of the thumping pain in my head. I squinted my eyes at the clock and sighed in relief once I saw that Lyric wouldn't be late for his flight if he gets up now.

I smiled as he pulled my bare back against his bare chest, tightening his arm around me. His face found the crook of my neck and by the soft snores coming from him I guessed he was still asleep. I rubbed at his arm and used my foot to rub up his leg, trying to ease him awake.

"Lyric. Baby, it's time to get up." I said softly, messing with the watch that was on his arm, my eyes still fuzzy from sleep. I didn't recognized it and flipped his hand over to find out who made it, but froze once I saw the exact same tattoo I had on my wrist. "Oh....my..." I slowly turned my head to find Shane's peaceful face asleep in the crook of my neck, my breath quickening. "God!" I shrieked, flipping off the bed, and pulling the cover with me.

Shane shot up in surprise and looked down at me. My eyes widen once I saw that he wasn't wearing anything...nothing at all. "Why are you naked!?" I screamed and covered my eyes with my hands. He let out a embarrassed scream after me.

"Why are you naked!?" He shouted and I quickly lowered my hands from my face and looked at him in disgust. He used a pillow to cover himself and sadly it was the one I always used.

"I'm not nak-" I stopped once his eyes dropped to my chest quickly before looking back at me. I looked down and saw that my bare chest was on full display for him to see and screamed, tears filling my eyes. "Oh my god! Don't look at me you perv!" I cried, scooting back so far that I knocked my head in the dresser, picture frames, and makeup falling on to the floor.

"I was trying not to!" He defended as I pressed my hand to my head in pain. We sat in silence as we both tired to figure out what was going on. I dropped my eyes to the ground, praying that what I was thinking didn't happen, but let out a shaky breath once I saw the empty condom wrapper laying on the ground.

"No..." I said, voice cracking. I pushed my hair back with both hands, keeping them locked at the very top, and stared at the wrapper with watery eyes. "No...no....I didn't...no...this isn't possible." I panted in panic, gripping the cover to my body, and standing up.

"Ella, what's wrong?" Shane asked, eyes following mine as I stared down at the wrapper. "Shit!" He cursed and stood up, keeping the pillow covering him. "We didn't...no...Fuck!" He screamed making me flinch as he slipped on his boxers.

I looked down at my feet, tears pouring from my eyes, and unbearable pain filling my stomach and chest. My whole body start to shake with guilt as memories from last night filled my head and my mouth tasting like bile at the thought of the words I said about Lyric after wards. I stood shaking as Shane rushed around, cursing under his breath, and pulled on his clothing.

"She is going to kill me..." He trailed off and let out a sigh once a sob slipped from my mouth. "Shit. Hey, El. Breath, love." He cooed, about to place his hand on my back.

"Don't!" I screamed at him, yanking away. "Don't you even dare touch me!" I cried in anger.

"Ella, calm down. Getting mad isn't going to-"

"Shut up!" I wailed, using one hand to shove him away. "I'm like you now! I'm a cheater! Oh god! He is going to be so hurt! Why did I do!?" I bawled, pulling at my hair, and the pain in my stomach only intensifying.

"Ella, breath." Shane whispered, taking a step towards me.

"No!" I shouted, running to the other side of the room. "You don't get it! I cheated! I cheated on him! Oh god! I don't deserve him! I don't deserve anyone!" I sunk down to the ground with my mouth covered with my hand as loud sobs surfaced. Shane took small steps towards me and knelled down in front of my carefully.
