I gave three loud knocks on the door that lead to Rain and Brandie's apartment and stepped back so they could open it. Brandie's smiling face popped up once the door opened and she looked surprise that I was standing there with a desperate look.

"Hey, Ella. Everything alright?" She asked in concern and stepped aside to let me. I walked in without a word and looked around for Rain. Who was the only person I wanted to talk to right now. "El?" She called out as I walked into there living room, where Rain sat on the sofa with a bowl of popcorn in his lap and the remote in his hand.

He looked away from the T.V and gave me a small smile as a greeting. "They're making me choose." I blurted out and his face fell at my words. "I need help." I whispered and he rushed over to me, pulling me into a tight hug, and I broke down for the first time in the pass two months. "I don't want to hurt them." I cried.

"I know, El. I know." He cooed and rubbed soothing circles into my back. "But I'm here to help you find the easiest way possible to let one of them down." He added, leaning back to look down at me. "You are gonna get through this. It's time to choose."

I sniffled and wiped at my eyes. "You're right. It's time." I nodded as he led me over to the sofa, pulling me down to sit with him. "They gave me two weeks and I've already used up three days of it." I told him, thinking back to all the days and nights I laid in the middle of my living room floor with thoughts rushing through my head.

He nodded and let out a little sigh. "Well, let's get to it." He said before adding. "What do you love about Lyric?" He said and I began to smile as so many things rushed through my head.

"I love that he makes me feel protected and loved every second of every day. I love his sarcastic attitude and humor. I love the way he looks at me like I'm the only thing he ever wants to see for the rest of his life. I love the butterflies he gives me with even the slightest touch. I love the way he always smiles when we start kissing and how he presses me against him like he wants to be one with me. The little things he does without even meaning to are my favorite." I gushed, staring down at my engagement ring resting on my finger in fondness.

"What kind of little things?" Rain's voice snap me out of my happy trance of our relationship.

"Like the random I love you's that he says so causally. Like he doesn't even have to think about it cause it comes so natural for him to say it to me. The soft kisses on the back of my neck when we first wake up. The remembering of my favorite flowers, shows, or even body wash. The automatic hand holding whenever we go out somewhere. The..." I trailed over, throat growing tight with sobs, and body filling with sadness at the thought of everything I can lose from him.

"Hey, it's okay." Rain said in a hushed tone as a tear slipped from my eye. "We can stop if you want." He added and I shook my head no letting out a shaky breath.

"I need to do this." I said, voice cracking. "T-The goofy faces he makes when he wants to make me smile or laugh. The way he dances off and on the stage. The light in his eyes when he sees something he really loves. How excited he gets over small things. The way he took care of me when we lost Sara..." I strained out the last part at the mention of our lost daughter. "The way he's always taken care of me. I love that even through everything I've put him through he still wants to be with me. Still wants to call me Mrs. Stone. Still wants to have kids with me. Still wants to spend the rest of his life with me. After everything that has happened he still wants me and me only. I think that's what I love the most." I nodded to myself at the end and blinked away tears in my eyes.

"Whoa..."Rain breathed out once I finished making me look at him. "That was intense." He said in awe and I chuckled, wiping at my eyes.

"Our relationship is intense." I smiled softly and leaned back against the sofa. "What next?" I asked and smiled a thank you at Brandie once she brought me a cup of tea. I took a sip as Rain waited for her to sit down and then turned his attention back to me.
