We pulled up to the small and story book like wooden cabin in its own isolated place in the woods. A lake placed behind it that spreads out for miles was reflecting the peach color of the sky as the sun set. My breath being taken away as I stepped out of the car.

"Wow..." I gushed in awe as I looked around at the stunning area. Rain smiled at me, nodding his head in agreement, while casting his eyes around.

"Wait till you see the inside." Brandie said, passing by me to get the trunk. Which Lyric was already at, grabbing his bags, and not looking even the littlest fazed by the view around him.

"Lyric! Yo!" Rain called out, waving his arms. Lyric looked up and popped a ear phone out. "Dude unplug and enjoy this."

"I'll pass." Lyric cut his eyes at me in annoyance. He returned the ear phone back to his ear, picking up his bag, and heading up to the cabin without another word. Rain scoffed and trudged over to the trunk, frown printed on his face.

"Babe, relax." Brandie cooed, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head right between his shoulder blades.

"I just don't know what to do anymore. I can't win with him." He exclaimed running his hands down his face. "He's so fucking infuriating." He groaned.

Brandie giggled and kissed the back of his neck, his body relaxing at the little act of affection. "You act like he's your son or something. It's so cute." She smiled.

"The little shit better be lucky he's not my kid or his mouth would have been slapped off a long time ago." He muttered pulling a few bags out of the trunk once she let go. "I'm done with his tude'." I let a small giggle slip out of my mouth at the slang making him look over at me.

"I can't believe you just used tude'." I laughed. "Last time I heard someone use that was in high school and it was Kayla." Rain gave a slight chuckle, slamming the door shut.

"Well I don't want to waste full words on him." He stated and handed me a few bags. "Now I'm just gonna let this go and enjoy my weekend."

And with that we all headed off inside.

I gasped in awe once I enter the cabin and for the second time since I've been here my breath was once again stolen. The living room ceiling was strung with fairy lights and was decorated in soft looking black sofas, a wooden coffee table, and a fire place with a flat screen hanging above it. It was like something you see in the movies.

A small kitchen with cherry red wood cabinets and old fashion appliances was behind it with knickknacks and pictures lining the bar counter. An old wooden chandelier hanging in the middle of it. And a glass dining table with six chairs was in the small room next to it, fairy lights strung around the room also.

"Told you." Brandie breathed in content once she saw my awe stuck look. "Absolutely gorgeous." She smiled looking around.

"All thanks to my mama." Rain said in adoration. He glanced at me before adding. "You can go pick out your room and then in about hour or so we cook dinner."

I nodded and took one more look around before heading down the hall way.

I walked out the simple yet adorable room and into the living room dressed in a pair of low rider jeans and a tank top with a red flannel over it. Rain and Brandie were standing near the kitchen, staring out the glass sliding doors, and whispering to each other.

"Hey, what's going on?" I asked stepping next to them and casting my eyes outside. Lyric was sitting the in the lawn, closest to the lake, with a guitar in his hands, and the box next to him.
