I groaned as my eyes fluttered open and the pounding in my head intensified. My mouth was dry and I could smell a strong stench of whiskey coming from it, making my stomach cringe. I forced my eyes opened long enough to see that it was almost two before burying my face back into the pillow.

I reached out for Lyric but all I felt was coldness from his side of the bed and guessed he went to the studio to practice. I pushed myself up slightly, hair falling in my face, and head thumbing. I glanced around the room, feeling like something was wrong.

I threw my legs over the side of the bed and slowly rose onto my feet, whimpering as my stomach became tight, and my head was splitting. I went to the dresser and pulled open a drawer, heart stopping once I noticed that none of Lyric's clothes were inside.

My hand gripped at the edge of the dresser as a pain shot through me and memories from yesterday flooded my mind. I gasped and tears pooled in my eyes. "No..." I croaked out and stumbled back to the bed, putting my pounding head into my hands. "I thought...it was suppose to be a dream." I whispered in a small sob.

The door creaked open and I snapped my eyes towards it, finding mom standing there with a tray of food. She saw my state and gave a small sigh. "Oh my love..." She cooed, setting the tray on the dresser and wrapping her arms around me.

"Him leaving...it...it w-wasn't a dream was it mom?" I cried as she rocked us side to side. She made a hushing sound, running her fingers through my slightly matted hair.

"No baby it wasn't." She sighed as a strangled sob left my lips. "You're going to be just fine."

"Mommy...it hurts. It hurts so much." I wailed, gripping onto the front of her shirt. "He's gone mom. He left me. Oh god." She pulled me into her lap and let my head rest in the crook of her neck.

"Shh, my love. Just take deep breaths." She said before guiding me in to taking deep breaths with her. "There you go. Just like that. Do a few more for-" I suddenly pushed off of her and ran into the bathroom.

I dropped to my knees over the toilet and threw up all the contents in my stomach. My throat burned from the whiskey coming back up and my head hurt even more from straining. I groaned as my hair fell in my face and vomit got on the end of my bangs.

Mom's hand grabbed the rest and rubbed soothing circles in my back with the other. I continued to empty my stomach into the toilet and felt hot tears run down my face from straining and sadness. I let out a little sob once I finished, resting my head on the edge of the bowl, trying to regain my breath.

"Honey, lets get you into the shower." Mom cooed, easing me up onto my feet. She sat me down on the edge of the tub before turning on the shower head. "I'm going to go get you some clothes. Go a head and get in."

I slowly removed my clothes and stepped into the shower, moaning lowly as the hot water hit my sore back.  I rested my head against the wall under the shower head, letting the water roll down my body.

I heard the door close and guessed my mom left my clothes on the sink. Once I knew I was alone I let the sobs come free and slipped to the ground. I brought my knees up to my chest, wrapping my arms around them, and burying my face into them.
