Over the next few weeks, Tommy and Tubbo kept returning to the woods. Every time they went, Nessa would find them, no matter where in the woods they were, though they weren't quite sure how. Whenever they asked her, she would shrug her shoulders and say "I'm just god."

In truth, Nessa had started to anticipate their visits. Whenever she was out and about, she would listen and keep an eye out for them. When she found them, she acted annoyed, though really she was starting to enjoy the boys' company. She hid it though, not wanting to admit that she liked having interaction with people. [Denial.] Tommy and Tubbo could tell that she liked them, though. Nessa taught them how to climb trees, and the three would spend hours just sitting up in the branches, chatting.

A bond started to form between them, unlikely as it was, and it just kept growing stronger. Nessa began to trust the two chaotic boys more and more. After about a month, she finally trusted them enough to show them her house. The two boys were a little surprised. "You live here?" Tommy asked, which earned him a sharp elbowing in the ribs from Tubbo. Nessa chuckled a little bit. "Yup. Built it myself, and it works for me." Tommy opened his mouth to speak, but Tubbo elbowed him again. The brown haired boy knew that Tommy had no filter whatsoever, and would probably end up saying the wrong thing. "It's cool that you live somewhere you built yourself." he said, shooting Tommy a look. Tommy scowled for a second, but then he saw something that caught his eye. He ran over to get a better look, Nessa following behind him.

He was looking at something purple resting in the leaves. "Is that... an enchanted netherite sword?" he asked, turning to Nessa, who nodded. "Can I hold it?" Nessa nodded again, and he picked up the sword in awe. "Techno has one of these, but he would never let me touch it." Nessa tilted her head, "Who's Techno?" she asked, looking slightly confused.

"Oh, have we never mentioned him?" responded Tubbo. "Well he's our older brother." [I don't give a darn if they're not canonically related. SBI is canon in this book, and that is that.] "Oh, cool." said Nessa. She turned back to tommy. "Do you want to see my combat training area?" Tommy gasped. "You have a combat training area?!' he said excitedly.

Nessa smiled. "Yep. I mean, we live in a world with zombies, living skeletons, and creepers. A girl's gotta be able to defend herself, right? So do you want to see it?" Tommy nodded, and the three children walked out the door, laughing and chatting all the way.
