After having spent a few weeks in Pogtopia, Nessa was finally starting to settle in. She helped Techno farm potatoes, helped Tommy gather resources, and spent a LOT of time battle training. She even got a cool new outfit like Wilbur!

One evening as she was practicing archery, Wilbur came into the room. Nessa let the arrow that she had drawn back fly before turning to him. "Yeah?" she asked as a greeting. Wilbur laughed. "You've never been very good at greeting people, have you? I came to tell you that Tommy and I are headed out to a meeting. Do you want to come?"

Nessa eyed him dubiously. "Depends. Who are we meeting with?" Wilbur grinned. "You'll see when we get there." after a minute of thinking, Nessa let her curiosity get the best of her. "Fine. I'll come." Wilbur smiled. "Great! Meet us by the staircase in half an hour." He walked out of the room, leaving Nessa with nothing to do for half an hour. She decided to go back to her room for a while.

Once she made it back to her room, Nessa decided to listen to some music. Walking over to her collection of discs, one of the few things that she had brought with her from Manberg, she chose a random one and put it in her jukebox. (I wanted to make music from our universe exist in this universe because it's such a big part of my life. So I decided to make them into discs!) Nessa pressed play and laid down in bed, humming along to her favorite parts of the song.

(This song is a vibe tbh)

Lost in your mind

I wanna know

Am I losing my mind?

Never let me go

If this night is not forever

At least we are together

I know I'm not alone

I know I'm not alone

Anywhere, whenever

Apart, but still together

I know I'm not alone

I know I'm not alone

(That's all I'm gonna put, but go listen to the rest of the song! also, I feel lie my taste in music just proves how incredibly lonely I am lmao)

After listening to that song and a few others, she realized that it was time to meet Wilbur and Tommy. Hopping out of bed, she kicked the jukebox to make the disk pop out and jogged out the door to the staircase. When Nessa got there, she saw that her brothers were already waiting for her by the staircase.

Once she reached them, the three  began to walk up the stairs. "You know, we really should have safety railings on these things." Nessa commented, gesturing to the edge of the staircase and the far fall down. Anyone who fell would almost certainly lose a life. Wilbur grinned. "Why put up railings! Falling is fun!" Nessa shook her head and continued to walk up. When they reached the top, she put up the hood of her cloak thing. (I KNOW THE CLOAK THING DOESN'T MAKE SENSE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I HAVEN'T ADDED THE POGTOPIA OUTFIT YET BUT PLEASE BEAR WITH ME)

The three walked in silence for a while. Nessa fell behind, along with Tommy, while Wilbur walked ahead. "So." Nessa said, breaking the silence. "Where exactly are we going?" Tommy opened his mouth to speak, but Wilbur beat him to it. "You'll see!" the brunette called over his shoulder. Nessa sighed in frustration. "Why won't you people tell me anything?" Nobody said anything, and they went back to walking in silence.

Pretty soon, they reached a small clearing in the woods. The leaves on the trees provided shelter overhead, and a few logs sat near the side of the clearing. Wilbur and Tommy sat on the logs, and Nessa curled up on the ground. (Am I the only one who does this?) Tommy laughed loudly. "You're like a fucking cat!" Nessa looked up at him, a completely deadpan expression on her face. "Has it ever occurred to you that maybe that's because I am a fucking cat?" Tommy laughed again, Nessa grinned, and Wilbur shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose. "You two are such children..." he muttered.

Just then, Nessa heard footsteps approaching the clearing. Her tail shot straight up in the air as they got closer. soon, a familiar face came in to the clearing. Nessa met the newcomer's blue eyes and stared for a second. Then, grinning, she ran across the clearing to hug Tubbo. Tubbo hugged her back and smiled. "You guys found her!" he said to Wilbur and Tommy. Wilbur nodded. "Techno found her, really."

After almost a minute, Nessa finally let go of her older brother. "Why are you here?" she asked. "I thought you were with Manberg!" Tommy butted in, answering the question for Tubbo. "Tubbo's been spying for us! That's how we knew you ran away. Tubbo told us." Wilbur cleared his throat before Nessa could start asking more questions. "I hate to interrupt the happy reunion, but we have important shit to do."

Tubbo nodded and pulled a book out of his jacket. "I found come of Schlatt's future plans for Manberg. Take a look."  Wilbur took the book from Tubbo and read through it, his expression unreadable. Finally, he looked back up. "Tubbo, you're a fucking hero." Tubbo grinned proudly as Wilbur went on. "These will help us so much in the next year. thank you."

Tubbo nodded. "No problem, man. Now I should probably get back to Manberg before Schlatt notices I'm gone." he waved goodbye and walked back in to the woods. Tommy and Wilbur stood up and got ready to head back to Pogtopia. "You coming?" Tommy called to Nessa when she didn't follow. Nessa nodded. "Yeah, I'll be right there! Go ahead without me." she responded. Tommy shrugged and followed Wilbur out of the clearing.

Once they were gone, Nessa climbed up a tree and sat in the branches, just like she used to when she was younger. She looked up at the thousands of stars above her. Stars had always made Nessa feel strangely peaceful, and she wanted to look up at them forever. But she knew she had to get back to Pogtopia soon. So after a few minutes of stargazing, she hopped down from the tree and started the walk back to Pogtopia, singing to herself quietly.
