Chaos ensued. The pet killings discussion went pretty normally, but Fundy kept switching sides. Apparently, you can bribe him really easily with the promise of ice cream and bakeries. But then Karl brought up the topic of corruption within politics. And oh boy.

Nessa watched as Wilbur and Quackity l̶o̶u̶d̶l̶y̶ ̶a̶r̶g̶u̶e̶d̶ ̶a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ discussed how exactly the election had begun. Somehow, through the powers of their chaoticness, this brought up a heated argument about VODs.

"You were well aware that you were going to be a one party system before I came to run against you!" shouted Quackity. "And you weren't expecting that! You were expecting-" Wilbur started to talk over him. "You have no proof. He's talking out his ass. He's talking out his ass, he has no proof!"

Quackity slammed his hand down on his desk. "I have proof! There are VODs, Wilbur! I can pull them up, Wilbur!" Everyone on L'Manburgs side began to shout different variations of "What's a VOD?" Quackity was standing on top of the podium shouting at this point. "There are many VODs, Wilbur."

Wilbur walked forward. "If it pleases the court, I would like to say that my opponent is talking shit." (Honestly, that's my favorite line in the entire plotline, other than "I have a crayon suit. What the fuck are you asking from me?")

Shouts and laughter rose up from both sides. "Got 'em!" screamed Nessa. Meanwhile, Tommy was trying to bribe Karl to say that POG had won the debate with a bunch of $2500 books. Karl agreed, but Sapnap saw the whole thing and called them out.

After a few more arguments, the debate continued. Karl began a discussion on taxing citizens. Wilbur cleared his throat and read aloud from the book of policies that POG2020 had made before the debate. "#8: We will lower taxes. #9: We will make big things." Quackity pulled out a blank book and hastily wrote something down. Then he read what he had just written. "#9: We will make bigger things."

This was followed by another long argument. Fundy kept switching sides, siding with whoever promised the biggest things. Finally, shaking his head, Tubbo walked up to the front podium, pushing Karl off. "Hey!" he shouted, causing everyone to stop arguing and look up at him. "Are you done with your pissing contest now?" Nessa laughed.

Quackity and Wilbur begrudgingly shook hands, and George and Tommy took the podiums. Tubbo started the first discussion in the vice-presidential debate. "Okay. People allowed in L'Manburg. Thoughts?"

Tommy said that the L'manburg citizens had fought for the freedom of their land, and it was only fair that they kept their anti-American policies in place. George argued that it was ironic how POG2020 wanted freedom, but they only wanted it for a certain group of people.

George kept cutting Tommy off, and this angered the child. They started to have a battle of who could talk over the other, and this (of course) resulted in a fight. George approached Tommy's podium, and Tommy shouted "SHUSH, GOGY!" and started beating the older male up. Tubbo and Karl shouted for order, and Nessa had to go over and pull the two vice-presidential candidates apart.

Next, George brought out the books that Tommy had used to try to bribe Karl, causing a debate about bribery and war. Karl took the books, and this prompted Tommy to start attacking him with a sword to get the books back. Tubbo had a perplexed look on his face. "What is it with everyone trying to kill each other in my courtroom?" he asked.

Soon, Wilbur had to call for a short recess, because everyone was about 30 seconds away from killing each other. POG2020 had a group huddle outside. "I will admit, I did bribe Karl." Tommy said, not seeming the least bit ashamed.

This caused a small uproar among them. But Tommy promised that he would 1: Never bribe someone again, 2: Uphold the values of L'Manburg, and 3: Fuck up Gogy. This seemed to settle everyone down, and pretty soon, the debate resumed.

That was a mistake.
