^Pogtopia Wilbur my beloved^

(Heyo! I felt like we should have a kind of calm, filler chapter to make up for how utterly depressing this plot is. Enjoy!)

After a thorough (and very loud!) tour of Pogtopia thanks to Tommy, Nessa went to her room for some down time. As she lay on the purple bed, she looked around the small room. It's nice, but I need something to spice it up a little bit, she thought. Jumping up, she ran out of the room to b̶e̶g̶  ask her brothers for paper.

Once she had s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶n̶  borrowed some from Techno, she set to work. She drew pictures of her friends, siblings, and things that reminded her of old L'Manburg. Anything that made her happy, really. Once she drew these, she made an attempt to hand them up on the wall.

After a lot of trial and error, she managed to hang most of them up. The room was starting to look better already! But it needed something else. Nessa stood and thought for a while. After some time, she finally realized what she needed. But she would need Tommy's help.

Walking out of her room and over to the room next to it, she practically kicked down the door, screaming "SURPRISE, BITCH!" This earned a scream from Tommy as he fell off his bed, startled. Nessa laughed as he struggled to get up. "Hey, I need your help building something." she said once he was upright again. Tommy glared at her. "You barged in here and scared the absolute shit out of me just to tell me that?" Nessa nodded, trying to keep a straight face. "Yup."

Tommy rolled his eyes and sighed. "What do you need help to build?" Nessa told him her plan, and he agreed. With Wilbur's permission, the two went out to gather spruce wood. They talked to each other as they chopped wood. "So what finally pushed you to leave Manberg?" Tommy asked.

Nessa explained the whole story about Niki getting imprisoned, Fundy burning the flag, and Schlatt being a dick. By the end of the story, Tommy looked about as angry as Nessa felt. "I knew that bad things had happened, but I didn't know the details. Those fuckers!"

Nessa nodded. "How did you know about the bad things anyway?" she asked. Tommy looked away. "I dunno, I just guessed?" he said, but it came out more like a question. Nessa crossed her arms. "You're a terrible liar, Tommy." Tommy glared up at her. "I'm a great liar!" he protested. Nessa smirked. "Oh, so you were lying?"

Tommy muttered something about how much he hated her. "I'm not sure I'm allowed to tell you yet." he said at last. Nessa huffed a little bit and went back to chopping wood. After a while, they had all the wood they needed, and they went back to their base. Once they had hauled all the wood upstairs, they began to build.

The two spent the next few days sitting on the floor of Nessa's bedroom, sawing, assembling, and using more swear words that most people use in their lifetime. After three days of building, they were finally done. Nessa took a step back to admire her new desk and chair. They were pretty simple, but she loved them anyway. Nessa turned to Tommy and flapped her hands excitedly. "Thanks for helping!" she said. Tommy smiled. "No problem."

(Shitty chapter, but in my defense, it was written in the middle of the night while I was sleep deprived.)
