^I think have an unhealthy obsession with the DSMP Musical.^
Months passed. The citizens of L'Manburg attempted to regain the supplies they had lost, but to no avail. They had lost all of their best supplies, weapons, and armor. On top of this, everyone was feeling extremely depressed after Eret's betrayal. No one felt like doing anything anymore.
After about four months of this, Nessa came in from watch duty to report some unusual news. She approached Wilbur and saluted. "General Soot." Without looking up from the book he was writing in, Wilbur said "As you were." Nessa relaxed a little bit. When the army general also happened to be your older brother, it was hard to be sure how you should treat him some of the time.
"Sir, there's something that you should probably check out." she said. Wilbur looked up tiredly. "What is it?" he half asked, half sighed. "Um, well, Dream and GeorgeNotFound are outside the walls of L'Manburg. They say they want to speak with you."
At this, Wilbur's head snapped up. "What?" he said, his voice full of alarm and worry. Nessa nodded. "Get Tommy." Wilbur said gravely. "You should both bring your crossbows. You're coming with me." Nessa nodded again and raced out of the room to find her little brother.
Five minutes later, Wilbur walked down the path leading to the entrance to L'Manburg. Nessa and Tommy flanked him on either side, crossbows in hand. Nessa thought they must have been a slightly strange sight. A grown man and two teenagers, wearing war uniforms that had basically been taken straight out of Hamilton, carrying weapons, looking menacing as shit.
They reached the gates, and Wilbur took a deep breath before walking through. Dream and George were still standing there, waiting. They turned to look at Wilbur, and both Nessa and Tommy took the opportunity of no one looking at them to subtly flip Dream off.
Dream nodded at Wilbur. "General Soot." "Dream." Wilbur said coldly. "What are you doing here?" Dream shrugged. "It's simple, really. You've practically lost the war. We're here to see if you surrender." "Never." Nessa growled, her tail lashing violently in the air. Wilbur shot her a warning look and then turned back to dream. He cleared his throat.
"Independence, or death. If we get no revolution, we want death. We would rather die, than give in to you and join your SMP."
(Oof. Can we get an F in the chat for the sleep deprived author who forgot when this quote happened and probably put it in the wrong part of the story?)
No one could see Dream's facial expression under his mask, but they could tell that he wasn't pleased. "I want to see white flags. outside your base. In 30 minutes. If they aren't up by then, George and I will light a single piece of TNT outside of L'Manburg."
Everyone was silent for a moment. Then the three L'Manburgians started laughing. Once they started laughing, they couldn't stop. They laughed for a good minute and a half before they calmed themselves down. "Are you done yet?" asked Dream, sounding unamused.
Wilbur wiped a tear of laughter out of his eye. "You really think we're scared of one little piece of TNT? Go on, then. light your TNT. See if it affects us in any way." Dream shrugged. "Fine then. Have it your way. We'll see you in half an hour." The two parties walked their separate ways.
Little did the revolutionaries know what was about to come.
