"Tommy, are we the bad guys?"

Months passed. Pogtopia continued to watch Manberg from afar. They noted everything that could possibly be noted, in case it could possibly help them with their plans. Pogtopia continued to grow, despite the fact that the population didn't. They expanded deeper into the ravine, built more stuff, and, courtesy of Nessa and Techno, started hoarding weapons.

One afternoon, Nessa, Tommy, and Wilbur were perched on top of what remained of the L'Manburg walls. Schlatt was about to make a big speech, and the three of them wanted to see if any of the information given in it could help their plans. The three watched as Schlatt walked on to the stage, followed closely by Tubbo.

The president stepped up to the podium, adjusted his tie, and began to speak. "Greetings, citizens of Manberg! I've called you all here today to make a special announcement. In a few months, we will be holding our first ever Manberg Festival!" The crowd started to talk. Most of them seemed excited, but a few looked discontent.

Schlatt went on. "I'm hoping that this festival will be a celebration of my rule, and of the new era of peace in our country. Tubbo will be in charge of organizing it, so if you have any questions, talk to him." With that, Schlatt walked off the stage. Nessa looked at Wilbur and Tommy. The three of them shared a look before Wilbur motioned for the other two to follow him. Nessa and Tommy followed as he led them to the clearing where they usually met up with Tubbo. Wilbur stopped and turned to them.

"So." he said. "The plan to overthrow Manberg." Nessa nodded as he continued. "So far, all we've come up with is assasination. We could kill Schlatt, take our country back, and life would go back to normal." He paused and looked at the two teens to make sure they were listening.

"But killing Schlatt wouldn't do anything. Killing Schlatt wouldn't change a single. Thing. Think about it. He won power through completely fair and legal means. If we killed him, people would see us as the villains."

At this point, he was pacing the length of the clearing furiously, making wild arm gestures as he talked. "L'Manburg is irredeemable now. It's gone. Far behind us. The only thing that matters now... is revenge." He turned to Tommy and Nessa, a wild look in his eyes.

"So let's be the bad guys."

The two teens stared in shock. "But you're being a moron, Wilbur!" cried Tommy. "You're being insane! We can still get L'Manburg back." Wilbur shook his head. "I wish that were true." Nessa stepped forward, quickly shifting into her full cat form. "Will, we're two seventeen year olds and a twenty one year old. They outnumber us ten times over. Even if we agree to your plan, how the fuck are we supposed to beat them?"

Wilbur grinned. "By using the same thing that nearly screwed us over in the first war. TNT." Just the mention of it sent shivers down Nessa's spine. She could still remember the sound of explosions around her, the ground shaking under her feet, the feeling of helplessness that she felt as she and her friends ran for their lives.

"How would TNT help us overthrow Schlatt?" asked Tommy. Wilbur grinned again. "We rig up a bunch of TNT under Manberg and connect it all to a button. Then, when the time comes, we press the button, and boom! No more Manberg."

Tommy and Nessa tried to convince Wilbur that this was a bad idea the whole time they were walking back to their base. But it was no use. Wilbur had his heart set on blowing Manberg to the ground.

"I say, if we can't have Manberg, no one, NO ONE, can have Manberg."
