"I don't see why I need all this stuff, I'm never going to wear it," I grumbled.

We spent hours going from one shop to another, buying everything from basic comfy loungewear and summery dresses to a variety of essential bathroom and beauty products. I was ecstatic to know they even had a whole range of apple-scented products. A scent that I had always favoured growing up.

However, she insisted on dragging me into one shop in particular, the outside of it was painted a hideous shade of princess pink with black window frames. Displays of mannequins in revealing lingerie sets all in varying colours and styles, some I would never even dream of wearing. Visually, it was an instant red flag for me.

In the end, I left with a ridiculous amount of overly sexualised lingerie. I tried to object but Himiko can be very persistent when she wants to be.

I have no idea why she thinks I need this.

She rolled her eyes at me, which were a deep ocean blue from an unknowing  person she was using as a disguise to prevent anyone from recognising her. The League were well known now, so it made going out very difficult for them. Luckily for me though, no one knew my ties to the villainous organisation so I had no trouble showing my face in public.

"Well you never know," she winked, a small smirk on her plump pouty lips.

"Oh shut it blondie," her teasing evoking a small giggle from me before I took a long appreciative sip on the sweet iced tea.

It was early evening and the sun was beginning to set on the horizon as we turned down into the well-hidden alleyway that led to the entrance of the bar. An array of yellow, red and orange hues were being cast across the cloudless sky.

How long has it been since I last saw the sunset? Feels like a lifetime ago.

I haven't felt that content in years. I'd eaten so many delicious new things, takoyaki, tempura, mochi and Himiko insisted I tried this one particular drink called Bubble Tea—a milky sweet tea with strange chewy balls that you had to suck up through a thick straw, which is easier said than done. It was...different. A good different!

My appetite was sated, all I could think about was the comforts of my bed—I was exhausted.

"I have to say you've really outdone yourself this time with the disguise, I can't get over how pretty her eyes are," I looked over at the curvy blue-eyed stranger next to me.

"You think? I'm not sure about the hair, it's a little too long for my liking." She twiddled a long strand of bleach blonde hair between her thumb and index fingers.

"Well, I like it! Maybe we should ask Jin for his opinion?" I smiled, arching an eyebrow up as I reached out for the door handle.

"Do you think he'll be looking at my hair though?" Squeezing her enormously large bust.

I don't think anyone will be looking at her hair with them on show. It should be illegal to have ones that big!

"Now I know why you chose to use this disguise!"

We erupted into a fit of laughter as we entered the room, tears streaming down our faces.

Looking up, bleary-eyed, to the gathering of people in the room, who were chatting amongst themselves before we rudely interrupted. My gaze instantly fell to the floor, ashamed at barging in unannounced.

"Sorry! We didn't realise you were having a meeting," wiping the tears from the corners of my eyes.

"Me and Miko will get out of your way now, sorry for interrupting," I grabbed her hand pulling her further into the room before anyone could say something that would embarrass me more than I already was.
