Me and Himiko entered the bar to see everyone, but Jin, preparing to leave. Spinner, who was nearest to us, was tightening the piece of tattered cloth he always had tied around his head as a makeshift mask. The others were also wearing their villain attires, Shigaraki's being his normal every day to day outfit with the addition of the many creepy dismembered hands he placed all across his body.
I still can't tell if they're real or not, but whatever they are, they seriously freak me out...
Tomura's face was obscured by one of the larger hands as per usual, making it near enough impossible to know if he had noticed my presence or not.
"Spinner, what's going on?" I asked, strolling towards him, Himiko close at my side.
"Didn't Toga tell you?" His eyebrows raised in questioning at the blonde girl.
I turned to see her shrug her shoulders in a blasé manner.
"Sorry, must have slipped my mind," tilting her head up, smiling feebly.
"Well, if Toga had of remembered and told you like she was supposed to," narrowing his eyes into a glare, to which she retaliated immaturely by sticking her tongue out at him. "She would have informed you that we are to be meeting potential recruits for the League."
"Recruits, are they coming here?"
"No, we will be going over to one of our meeting points, an abandoned warehouse just across town. We don't know if we can trust them yet, so we can't give them the address to this place."
"Makes sense. Will I have to stay here?"
"No, you'll be coming with us," Shigaraki interrupted, facing our direction.
"Oh...won't I just get in the way though? I don't mind staying behind, it's not a problem."
"I would rather you were with us, I wouldn't want you getting any ideas of wondering off now."
Did he have such little faith in me still? That I'd go running off the moment I was left alone. I wouldn't even know where to go for pity sake! Himiko was wrong. Shigaraki only cared about one thing, his stupid alliance with Kai. He didn't see me as one of them. If he did he wouldn't keep treating me like some insolent child.
"I wouldn't..."
"You're coming, that's final," he abruptly cut me off.
I growled quietly under my breath. This man could be so infuriating! How could he go from being such a sweet, kind and playful guy who stayed up all night long playing video games with me, to this cold, distant and rude asshole who acted as though he didn't give a shit about anyone.
"Can we leave already? We already know they're gonna be a bunch of weak ass, good-for-nothing losers, so we might as well get this over with," Dabi moaned from the other side of the room, where he had been leaning idly up against the wall the whole time.
"Quit with your whining, Staples. It's because of you and your little fire shows around town that I'm having to intervene. This was your responsibility to find new allies, not mine."
Dabi scoffed and muttered something about them being 'useless morons' and 'insulting him'.
Fire shows? Maybe he had a fire-related quirk—which would explain the distinct smoky scent that always clung to him. Thinking about it, except from Himiko, Shigaraki and Kurogiri, I didn't know a thing about anyones quirks.
I'll have to ask Himiko when we get back.
"Kurogiri, send us over," he ordered to the misted man.
