The Cat's Whisper Chapter 6: Save and Safe

The fight between the light and dark continues. They were too fast that Nomika cannot see the fight clearly.

A whisper was heard again, saying lightness.

She felt a sudden warmth in her heart. 

She tried the best she can to move but no luck at all.

"Shadow Zetsui! I demand you to control Nomika's body!" the man shouted.

Kurotatsu then was terrified because of the Shadow Zetsui.

He was so afraid of that magic since his childhood days. Trying to forget what his twin brother did to him.

He tried to cut the magic with the use of his sword but the magic is too strong that even his brother (as far as he could remember) cannot handle it.

Nomika then was controlled by the man.

"Looks like killing her would be the best thing to do right now" the man said, eagerly to control Kurotatsu.

"You can't control me with that words of yours!" shouted Kurotatsu.

"Well then, Nomika, would you mind holding this sword and kill Kurotatsu?" asked the man to Nomika.

"Yes master" Nomika answered. 

The man gave Nomika an enormous sword. Bigger than her, bigger than the height of an average man.

Nomika then swinged her sword with power and was able to hit Kurotatsu.

Kurotatsu then cannot do something. Cannot think of something he should do but to guard himself from the attacks of Nomika.

After a while....

Nomika is very tired.

So tired that she cannot even move a thing.

"Now's my chance to let her eat this medicine" Kurotatsu talking to himself, soundproof.

Kurotatsu ran towards Nomika and let her eat the medicine.

It was a successful plan of Kurotatsu.

After eating the medicine...

Nomika stood there like a stone.

Her eyes were blank, speechless, emotionless, and worse heartless.

Kurotatsu then continued the fight between him and the man just for the sake of Nomika's life.

"What did you do to my servant, Kurotatsu-kun?" asked Kurotatsu with an evil grin.

"I just paralyzed her whole system. She cannot talk,walk,or even follow the orders of my twin! "  full of pride on what he have done to Nomika.

"Weakness? It isn't going to last for a long period of time! Buwahahahaha" the man said,thought that he is right.

Kurotatsu stopped for a while and showed an evil grin.

"This medicine isn't for temporary use. It's for controlling a human body. You think your so smart and I'm so dumb? I can tell Nomika's body to be released from the state of paralyzation may it be seconds,minutes, hours, days, until it becames history." he said to the man, with full of confidence.

The man glared at him and said "May the powerful one wins Nomika's soul"

"I accept your challenge" Kurotatsu said.

The both of them where heard by the evil twin of Kurotatsu.

Kurotatsu withrawed his sword same as the man.

Kurotatsu's sword was glowing with light. While the man's sword was glowing with dark.

They fought, and fought, and fought with each other.

Midnight came...

The both of them were too tired.

Moving inch by inch just to get Nomika's soul.

 "Good thing you have waisted your magic, old man" Kurotatsu said to himself.

Kurotatsu drew a star shaped sign with a demon's sign on the center.

The man was confused and tried to remember the sign.

"What the hell did he drew? I know this sign from somewhere. Think!" the man said to himself.

Kurotatsu prayed and his light aura where extended to the extreme.

At that time, the man then remembered where he saw the sign.

"One of the forbidden spells in magery!" he shouted to himself.

" I release thee the elements that forms the magery concept of magic!" he shouted with full voice, with all his might.

The man was shouting.

Afraid of the enormous light because he came from darkness.

After the big scene...

The man was toasted.

"Mark my words Kurotatsu, I'll be back!" the man said,angrily.

"I'll be waiting" Kurotatsu said, eagered to fight again with his evil twin's servant.

The man immediately left Kurotatsu and Nomika.

Kurotatsu putted Nomika on the bus and all were set to their normal places. Kurotatsu sended the other students home.

With just a flick of his hands, Nomika was released from the medicine.

The bus were moving. 

 Then he stood up right infront of the school bus and the driver stopped the vehicle.

"May I take Nomika home?" Kurotatsu asked to the driver.

"She's the only one left. She's sleeping at the third row, second column" the bus driver said.

"What happened with the school bus?" asked Kurotatsu, pretending not knowing anything.

"I think the clutch wasn't connected to the machine. It happened when we are beside the Okohama park" said the driver.

"Is that so? Better check your vehicle before driving then." he said with a friendly smile.

"Thanks for the advice" the driver said with a cheerful smile.

Kurotatsu carried Nomika on his back and they immediately went home.

Nomika's foster mother were shocked to know the truth but she didn't freaked out.

Instead " Please protect her Kurotatsu. You're the only one who can save her from this madness of your evil twin" she pleaded.

"As long as I am still breathing and blood flows throughout my body, I will always protect her until death" he promised.

"I'll leave the two of you alone. I'll be downstairs if you need me" Nomika's foster mother said.

"Good night then Ms. Takahaka" 

"Good night Kurotatsu"

Ms. Takahaka left the both of them.

Kurotatsu prepared his bed.

He kissed Nomika's forehead and slept soundly althroughout the night.
