The Cat's Whisper Chapter 22:My Past

Story so far....

Nomika was caught by Aya ( the voice's assistant when it comes to killing) beside the park. Nomika was unconcious when Aya brought her to an unknown place ( so called Demon's Lair). There she saw her long lost brother. As the story continues, her brother told his reason why he joined with 'The Voice' but then was killed by Aya. Nomika was then trying to get loose when Aya tried to kill her. She was prepared to die when Kurotatsu got in the way and flinched.

Back to the story...

[Nomika's View]

"Now that I killed your precious little protector... I might as well kill you." Aya said, smirking.

"Back away!" Kurotatsu said.

"You're still alive!" Aya replied, kicking Kurotatsu. Sending him flying.

"NO!!" I shouted.

I don't know how to protect him. All I care is that he's safe from Aya's attack. I don't want him hurt or killed. [Author says: Lolz is it becoming "Princess saved the prince? XD] I'm feeling useless here. Come on Nomika! Think harder!

[Aya's View]

Little princess is getting all worried here. I better kill this man slowly without letting her eyelids flick a second.

[Kurotatsu's View]

I'm here at the Demon's Lair. Looking for Nomika. I hid behind the stone about 10 meters away from her brother and Aya. While looking at them (fighting each other), I can't stop imagining how brother killed Mom and Dad.

{Past}

"Brother! Let's play"

"I can't. Remind me after 2 hours, okay?"

{Present}

I always hear these words. Remind, Can't, okay?, and many more. Something caught my attention. A stream of blood were flowing. I looked at the two girls when Aya was about to kill Nomika. She swayed her sword and all I know that I was the one who was hitted. Aya kicked me until I flew away. I can't feel something and my eye sight is getting blurred. I think I loss a lot of blood. I only remembered pieces of happening. It seems like Nomika was in Aya's position and Aya on Nomika's position. 

[Nomika's View]

"Tsk.. You're nothing but a pathetic fool.. I'm not going to say anything." Aya said.

I was asking about 'The Voice' 's plan. Killing or whatever. Sending out some words from this girl is a bit harder than I thought. So I gave her a little bit of surprise.

"What about this letter Aya? Still remembered this don't we?"

"How did you get that? Return that, now!"

"I might as well read this loudly"

I went to Kurotatsu pulled him and let him sleep in my lap while curing his wound.

"Actually, I memorized this letter. It even made me cry 100 folds"

[Author's Note: I'm going to write Aya's letter and Nomika's reply. I don't know if this will make you cry. Let's just hope so ^_^ I'll do my best.Nomika is reading it loudly while curing Kurotatsu. It's 2024 in this story so in 2047 we'll see the last episode of Nomika's life]

Dear Nomika,

We are a happy family. We always play outside. Feel that we are free. Running around with our dreams so high, nobody can reach. It was around 5:30 p.m. in 2019 when the thought of my happy family was gone. I came back from school. It was mom's birthday that day. I was walking through Scarlet street when I feel something strange. The citizens were quiet. It feels so new. Like a new behavior took over the city. I went inside our house and shouted so they will know that I'm already home. I went to our kitchen when I saw my parents having 50-50 lives. I carried my parents' head and let it rest in my lap. They were crying, also am I. "Mom, Dad, please tell me. Please tell me that, you'll be able to survive" TT-TT. "We don't think so Honey. Before we go can we tell you one last thing?" "Anything! Please! TT-TT" "Advance......Happy....Birth....Day...... Aya" They closed their eyes after saying that. I left them there lying with flowers beside them and left the house. 'Good Bye' those were my last words.
