The Cat's Whisper Chapter 21: Mist-terious

*RIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG*

"Whew!" Nomika shouted, gasping hard.

"Nomika! We thought you ain't going to school" her classmates said.

"That's another horror, we lost Yuko already and I ain't taking the risk of losing you Nomika" Ms. Miku said (Nomika and Yuko's adviser).

"What happened with Yuko, ms. Miku?" Nomika asked, concerned.

"Poor girl, Yuko ran away and didn't return to her home. It seems that everyone dearest from you are getting lost or more than that. What really is happening Nomika?" Ms. Miku asked seriously.

"Why asking me with that face ms.Miku?" Nomika asked back, terrified.

"I just thought that you might know something about this." Ms. Miku replied with a duckface. -3-

"Ms. Miku, class is suspended because there's a mist storm" the principal said.

[Author says: Mist storm is kinda new, doesn't even exist in real world. Just a pigment of my imagination, maybe?]

"Just as I planned, gehe" a girl from the balcony said.

Meanwhile at Kurotatsu's view...

"Why did it get so misty over here, the bad thing is nobody expected it" Kurotatsu said while coughing.

"Kurotatsu, I want you to fetch Nomika. They just told me that their class is suspended." Ms. Takahaka said.

"And why didn't you go to school?!?!? " Ms. Takahaka added, grinning at him.

"I'll answer your question later. I really have to go now" Kurotatsu replied, trying to escape Ms. Takahaka's wrath.

Kurotatsu went out of the house and ran towards the school. Sadly, Nomika left the school premises. 

[Nomika's View]

* cellphone rang

Nomika looked on her cellphone and was devastated by the message.

"Mom, why do you only have to tell it now?" Nomika said to herself T^T.

"Alone aren't we?" a girl spoke up.

"Who... Who are you?"

"A servant or should I say the demon's servant" the girl said while licking her lips.

[Author says: You want to eat her?? O.O seriously?!?!?]

The girl suddenly went to Nomika's back while Nomika lost her balance.

Will this misterious girl flee with Nomika? Or kill her?
