The Cat's Whisper Chapter 11: As Expected

School has already ended.

Nomika went home immediately. Trying not to be in danger.

She didn't mind about the people she walked through.

All she knows is that she isn't safe.

"Nomika!" calling her attention.

Nomika turned around and was shocked.

"What are you doing here Kagiharu?" Nomika asked with a loud voice.

"Relax, I'm just here to accompany you. Now that me and Yuko are gone, I now have the freedom to go with other girls." Kagiharu said, turning his head on the side.

"Just go home. I don't need an accompany." she said, terribly uninterested. 

Kagiharu then stopped and turned back.

" I'll be going. Just call when you need a friend" he said sadly.

Nomika sighed and ran as fast as she could.

Hoping that Kagiharu were not following her.

After a while...

"Mom, Kurotatsu, I'm home!" she yelled calmly.

"Young lady. Why are you late?" her mother asked.

"I just walked. Sorry mother." she said in reply.

"Don't ever do that again. You made me and Kurotatsu worried" she said, relieved.

"Yes mother. I'm going upstairs. Just call me if it is already dinner time." she said.

Nomika went up and Kurotatsu followed her.

"What happenned Nomika?" Kurotatsu asked.

"I just saw Kagiharu. He told me that Yuko broke up with him. He seems to be happy." she answered.

"Well just touch your forehead whenever you need help. I'll be there, promise?" he said bouncily.

"I promise that you'll be the first one to call Kurotatsu" Nomika then smiled back.

"Sweethearts, dinner is ready!" Ms. Takahaka called.

"Coming mother!" Nomika answered.

They had an enjoyable dinner.

Talking at each other happily.

After dinner...

"Mom thanks for the meal" Nomika said.

"Stop it. It gets me all fluttered up. Go upstairs and have your rest. You to Kurotatsu." her mother said.

They went upstairs.

Prepared themselves for bed and slept.

At the middle of the night...

"Where am I?" Nomika asked.

"The world you must expect after 13 years." the voice said.

"Stop fooling me around Mr. Brother-of-Kurotatsu" she answered back angrily.

"Oh you shouldn't talk to me that way" he said with a bit of anger.

"Just show me who you really are" Nomika said, trying to order the voice.

The voice went beside her.

Somewhat hugging her from the back and said

"You'll know it on the right time. I'll let you reveal my identity when you only have a week left to live" the voice said.

"Get off of me!" Nomika said squirming around.

Nomika then woke up.

Terrified on what or who really is the voice.

She didn't sleep, thinking the possibilities on what will happen on her last week to live.

Kurotatsu then acted that he is sleeping.

Frowning because he knew what will happen all along.
