The Cat's Whisper Chapter 17: Kill, Fear, and Death

The bell rang and Nomika and the others went to their respective classrooms.

"Class! We have a new student" the teacher said with a smile.

Kurotatsu walked in and waved at the class.

"Nice meeting you guys!" Kurotatsu said.

The girls were fluttered up.

Nomika is feeling a bit uncomfortable.

"You may sit beside Nomika" the teacher said, pointing the desk beside Nomika.

Lunch time...

"Hey Nomika! Let's have some lunch." Kagiharu said.

"No thanks, I'm already full." Nomika answered.

"Is that so? Okay then, I'll be heading now! See 'ya." Kagiharu said.

Then suddenly...

"Are you irritated about me being here?" Kurotatsu asked.

"A bit. It's just that I am not aware that you are interested in going to school. Why didn't you tell me?" Nomika said.

"Is that so? Sorry about that!" Kurotatsu replied.

Their faces are close to each other.

They began blushing, remembering the things happened yesterday.

Yuko is watching their back, listening to every words that they are saying.

"I'm getting revenge on you, you little whimsical girl" Yuko said to herself silently.

The speaker suddenly buzzed.

"All high school are now allowed to go home. Again, all high school are now allowed to go home." the principal said.

Nomika and the others prepared their things before going home.

Outside the gate...

"It will be a rough time going to our house. School buses are not running, it means we have to walk." Kurotatsu said with a poker face.

It was 7:00 in the evening, still the both of them aren't home yet.

"Kill. Fear. Death." The whisper said to Nomika repeatedly.

"What are the words they are whispering Nomika?" Kurotatsu asked.

"Kill, fear, and death. I don't even know why." Nomika replied.

There was a sudden hit of bullet on Nomikas left arm.

The both of them were shocked.

"Nomika, get down now!" Kurotatsu said.

"Well,well,well. What do we have here?" Yuko asked, holding a gun.

"Yuko, release the gun now!" Kurotatsu said, frightened.

"I will never get lost of this grip. So excuse me, I have to kill that girl you're protecting." Yuko said with a dark grin.

"Yuko, please stop it!" Nomika pleaded.

"Never.." Yuko said pointing the gun to Nomika.

Yuko pressed the gun, and a sudden gush of blood was seen in the area.

Worse, nobody heard the gun because of the silencer.
