The Cat's Whisper Chapter 10: Why me?

Nomika and Kurotatsu went home and caught Ms. Takahaka surprised.

"Glad you found Kurotatsu" she smiled with warmth.

"He was just standing at the park where I first saw him" Nomika said.

"Is that so? Well, sit on the table because we're about to eat dinner" Ms. Takahaka said, holding glasswares.

They ate silently. 

Nomika, was eating slowly, felt a bad vibe.

She doesn't know who, where, or why.

She continued to eat.

Kurotatsu felt the same way.

He was about to say something when Ms. Takahaka suddenly spoke up.

"So, why are we so silent around here? Is this a new atmosphere during dinner?" she asked, curiously.

"Just felt a bad vibe mom." Nomika said, alarmed.

"Me too" Kurotatsu said.

"If that's the case, you might bump into trouble. Just be careful tomorrow for school." she said, quite saddened of what she had said.

"We will mom. Don't worry about us" Nomika said, smiling to her mother.

They were done eating. 

They went up to the room and prepared themselves before going to sleep.

The next day...

Nomika was fast awake. Excited to go to school.

She hurriedly took a bath and prepared herself for school.

"Nomika, come here! It's almost time! Kurotatsu is already here." her mother said.

"Coming mother" she shouted back, full of excitement.

She went down very fast.

"Here's your lunch. Don't get yourself hungry" she said, reminding Nomika.

"Thanks mom!" she said with a cheerful smile.

The school bus was outside the house. The bus driver waved at Nomika and signaled her to go.

"Bye mom, bye Kurotatsu!" she waved at them.

"Oh and ahh Kurotatsu, don't let mom be worried to the two of us" she added.

"I will" Kurotatsu said in reply.

Nomika waved and went inside the school bus. 

After 5 minutes...

"Nomika-chan!" Yuko called Nomika's attention.

"Yuko, good morning" Nomika said.

"Can we talk later?" Yuko asked.

"Sure!" she replied, happily.

"Let's meet at the rooftop at lunch. Is that ok?" Yuko asked Nomika's agreement.

"Yeah, it's cool" she replied.

Yuko and Nomika went inside their respective classroom.

After long period of hours...

"Nomika, are you here?" Yuko asked.

"I'm here Yuko!" she said, calling her attention with a wave.

"I have something to say" Yuko said, sadly.

"What is it?" Nomika asked.

"It's about me and Kagiharu." Yuko said.

"What about the two of you?" she asked, curiously.

"I think there's something wrong with our relationship. I feel that he's inlove with somone." Yuko said, very sad.

"Yuko listen to me. Kagiharu will NOT do that to you. It's impossible and hard to believe." Nomika replied, tried relieving Yuko.

"I know right." Yuko said.

There was a short pause. 

"Who is this girl Kagiharu is inlove with? I couldn't even imagine that Kagiharu would do that." Nomika said to herself.

"Is it Nomika, Yuko? It happened when Kagiharu saw Nomika for the first time. Could it be?" Yuko asked to herself.

After a while...

"Nomika, I'm going to the classroom. I'll be staying there for a while." Yuko said, suddenly stood up, looking at her feet.

"Oh okay Yuko." Nomika said.

Yuko went to the classroom and Nomika was left at the rooftop.

She heard a whisper saying "you". 

"Me? The reason?"

Meanwhile...

"If Nomika is really the girl, I would probably get her killed." Yuko said to herself angrily
