     " And we've docked!... Dante!"

     " Hey, Alex!" The guard turned to his old friend as she raced off the boat." Glad to be back home?"

     She gave him a hug" As always, you know I've never been particularly fond of ocean travel, even if my experience with it is better than Katelyn's."

     " Well look at you!"Dante turned back to the boat as Garroth made his way onto the docks." Two weeks sailing must've really done a number on you."

     " If that's your way of welcoming us back home, then thank you."

     " My pleasure! It's good to see you both back."

     " Garroth! Alex! Welcome back!" A familiar redhead and her child ran onto the docks.

     " Kiki! Oh it's so good to see you."

     She laughed." Now, where are the little ones?"

     " Still on the boat, Aphmau's getting them ready to disembark," Alex explained after giving Kiki and Leona both hugs.

     " I see, well all the prepping for the party has been done. Kawaii~Chan's handling the final details."

     " I can't believe Alina is turning three today! It only seems like yesterday she was born."

     Kiki laughed again." Time flies with children, speaking of which, Leona!"

     " Yes, mom?"

     " Be a dear and babysit for Aphmau, Alex, and Garroth, they've been on a long journey and need a break."

     " Of course! Where're the little munchkins?"

     " They're in the-" Garroth began to answer before the werewolf cut him off.

     " Ah! Say no more, I smell their scent! I'm on it! Babysitter away!"

     " Remember not to take them to the barn or you'll spoil the surprise!" Kiki yelled after her daughter.

     " Got it!"

     They all watched as Leona disappeared below deck before Garroth spoke again." Thank you again, Kiki, for planning this party, it means so much to Aphmau."

     " Any time!"

     " Speaking of Aphmau, we should probably go check to see what's keeping her aboard, they're going to have to disembark eventually."

      " Right, we'll see you later for the party Kiki."

     " See you then!"

     Just as Alex, Garroth, and Dante approached the door to Aphmau's room on the ship, Leona threw the door open and raced out, being chased by the two kids.

     " They're going to grow up fast," Dante remarked, watching them run down the docks as Aphmau joined them." Just watch."

     " I know, it's crazy!"

     " It's hard to believe Alina is three."

     " She's grown up so much!"

     " He would be proud..."

     Aphmau looked down." Yeah..."

     " Well, what're we waiting for? Everyone in town is excited to see you guys! Plus we can't be late to Alina's party!"

     " What're you talking about? It starts in two hours, doesn't it?"

     " Yeah, but early bird gets the worm, right? Or in this case Kawaii~Chan's super special birthday cake! Let's go!"
