Epilogue ( The Non-Cannon Chronicles; Episode 16)

     "... Ara the Selfless was one of the least well-known of the Divine Warriors, right next to Kul'Zak The Wanderer. She took the role of the heart and second leader of the Divine Warriors, leading where Irene couldn't, and later aiding other lords of towns in the area, communicating via letters or short visits so that she never abandoned her people for too long. After sending Shad to the Nether, she created Byd Diogelwch Gwyrdd, The World of Green Security, and ruled for the rest of her life."

     " Lord Alex?"

     Alex turned away from the group of children she'd been telling a story to." Yes?"

     " They've arrived."

     Her smile grew, standing up before quickly racing to the docks just in time to catch five-year-old Alina and seven-year-old Lilith, before turning to her friends.

     " Aphmau! Aaron! I'm glad you're back!"

     The shorter girl smiled back." I'm glad we're back as well, it's always good to be home! Besides, I'd never miss your wedding. How have things been around Phoenix Drop?"

     " They've been going well! We've been working on constructing a second guard tower as well as a second park now that we've expanded the walls."

     " I'm glad things are going so well! Alina and Lilith were both so excited to get off the boat, if they could've, I think they would have just jumped off the boat and swam."

     Alex laughed." I'm glad they were so excited, come on, I have to show you everything that's changed since you were last here, including the newly built inn! Although I'm sure you'd want to stay in your old house."

    " We would, but I'd love to see the new inn anyways, from what I've heard through the grapevine that Phoenix Drop has prospered under your rule."

     Alex smiled sheepishly." I'm glad, I've been trying my best, but then again, I have been leading most of my life, and I had your help, without you, there probably wouldn't be a Phoenix Drop to lead at the moment."

    " You were the one who reminded me what it meant to be a good lord, and how it wasn't the lifestyle for me."

     " I never said those exact words."

     " No, you didn't, you're too polite to say anything like that." Aphmau stared off at the horizon, and at how much her home had expanded since she continued her journey to learn more about Irene." I'm still not sure about the Divine Warriors library, it seems a little too religious considering we're just people."

     " I wasn't sure either, but it just felt right in honor of Keynmur and Emmalyn, and I felt that they'd want their graves to be there." Alex smiled at the building sadly for a second before picking up Alina and lifting Lilith into the air with magic." Come on, I want to show you around, the town hall just got finished being decorated for the wedding, and I think these two would love Irene Park."

     " I still can't believe you named a park after my past self."

     Alex laughed." I didn't, the Phoenix Drop Council did, and the people chose the council members."

     " But you did have the final say."

     " I did have the final say, but it's what everyone wanted, and believe me, I asked everyone... but enough about Phoenix Drop, how have you been? How's the island, and the search about Irene?"

     " Same as usual," Aaron spoke up." We haven't been able to find anything other than what we already know about Irene."

     " I'm sorry to hear that then... but let's not dwindle on the past, I hope you'll like what I've done with your town."

     " It's been your town for nearly two years Alex, it hasn't been mine in that time, even if it's my home."

     Alex gave another sheepish smile." No matter what you may say, it's always going to be your town. Now let's go."
