A/N: Just a quick Explanation, like two of the chapters in Sweetheart, this chapter isn't going to include much of the actual episode, as you'll soon find out why, however it does include parts of the episode so that's the reason I have the episode linked with the chapter and the chapter name is the episode name... Also, this will be added in the Introduction, but Bold Bits in Quotation marks are Letters...
Things were calm in Phoenix Drop, even with the lord and some of the guards gone. Just as the sun was setting one evening as a good portion of the townsfolk were taking care of the brand new wheat field, a semi-green glow appeared around a group of trees nearby, and an elvish-looking man stepped out of what appeared to be a portal.
The townsfolk almost automatically stopped what they were doing and sat in shock for about a minute before, eventually, someone spoke.
" Uhh... hello?"
" Ah, yes, hello! Brendan? Isn't it?"
" Uhh... yeah, who are you?"
The Elf Straightened up." Right, of course, I am Eldrick, head advisor of the lord of the Emerald Faye."
A few people looked at each other, all very confused before the portal opened and a girl with pink hair emerged, riding a silver, slightly glowing, deer, before getting off and turning to face the citizens of Phoenix Drop, who all looked extremely confused.
" My apologies for the sudden arrival, I am Lord Alex, of the Emerald Faye."
" Uhh..."
" Right! Sorry, I forgot you wouldn't have a clue who we are, the Emerald Faye are a subsection of Faye, just like Elves or Faries are."
" But you're human-" someone hit Brendan in the arm.
" I understand the confusion, but the Emerald Faye aren't one specific race, they're a group of people, founded by one of the Divine Warriors, who kept themselves in a dimension connected with your own for centuries."
" But you're not a-" Brendan got hit a second time before he could finish the statement.
Cadenza spoke up." And why are you returning to this dimension now? After all these years?"
" Our prophet, Raine, foretold that it was time for us to return to the human world, although I understand your Lord isn't here currently, so this may not be the best time, however, we are willing to do are part in your civilization."
" How do you know that our Lord isn't here currently?"
" Oh! Right, that probably sounded very weird, you see, our world is almost exactly like yours, except it has a more green tint to it- as you may expect from the name- and we can see everything that goes on in your dimension, in ours, although I can tell it's not vice-versa, for quite a while now we've been warned not to interfere with what happens to you, but now we're here to enter the normal world again."
" Right... wait here for a minute, I'm going to go get a friend." After a little while, Cadenza returned with an elvish girl." This is Zoey, she's from the Forest of Yggdrasil."
" It is an honor to meet you, my people have heard much of your glorious forest."
" The honor is mutual!"
Cadenza spoke again." So these people speak the truth?"
" Absolutely, they are people of their world, unable to lie. Their home was founded by Ara the Selfless, one of the Divine Warriors, so Emmalyn should know all about their founder."
Molly spoke up "... Do you think she or one of her people could take a look at Alexis?"

" Dear Garroth,"
" I hope this letter finds you well, I wanted to give you an update on the status of Phoenix Drop. First off, I'm sure your main person of concern is little Levin, of course, he is doing fantastic! He's walking so much better, and is saying complete sentences, of course they're not all understandable words but... he's getting there. I'm sure by the time you, Laurence, and Lord Aphmau get back he'll be able to tell you everything he's been doing himself!"
" Next, Alexis, there's both good and bad news on her, first off she's reducing in size, she now looks nine years old, thanks to the help of a new arrival in town which I will explain in more detail later. However, she still remains in her slumber... this might mean that her condition was only temporary given the fact that the necklace has been removed."
" It's weird, but you know that hamster Lady Aphmau has? Well, when I was visiting the barn to let Levin play with Kyle, I noticed something about that hamster, it had some magiks residue on its fur that was stubborn as heck to get out, but after examining it, I discovered the properties were the exact same as the magiks that are currently affecting Alexis, then I remembered that hamster was, for a period of time, impossibly large. I've recorded my findings and sent everything to a magiks researcher who lives in my elven village."
" As for the new arrivals in town, they're a group known as the Emerald Faye, a bunch of different people, mainly Elves and other folk like that, who were founded by one of the Divine Warriors, Ara the Selfless, who's not generally worshiped outside of their group. Their Lord, Lord Alex, explained that one of their people is a Prophet who foretold that it was time for them to return to our Dimension, she was also the one to help out Alexis with some odd powers of her, which she explained came from an Emerald bound with her soul, they're people are very kind, and don't lie at all, and as soon as they moved into the town they even offered to take care of the building of their homes, although they eventually allowed us to help with that."
" Aside from those things, everything is perfectly normal here in Phoenix Drop, Dale and Brian have been doing an amazing job keeping everyone safe."
" Please be safe out their Garroth, we miss you and Lady Aphmau, with love, Zoey."
The elf turned to her newfound friend." Lord Alex, would you mind giving this message to Raven?"
" Of course, it has been ages since my people ever interacted with a Wyvern, ever since their dimension was closed off, it's incredible just to speak with one in person after all these years."
A/N: and there we go, the first ( actual) chapter of Emerald Faye, the final book in this trilogy, I'm very happy that I managed to get over my goal of one thousand words per chapter ( although I'm sure most of those words came from the letter), I can't think of much else to say here so as always I hope someone at least somewhat enjoyed this chapter, please comment if you feel like it, any to all comments make my day, and have a good day!
