Help Is Needed ( The Non-Cannon Chronicles; Episode 1)

     " Garroth!? Alex!? Is anyone here?"

     " Dante?" Alex got up from the grass where she'd been playing with Alina and Lilith." What's wrong, did something happen to Phoenix Drop?"

     " Is Garroth here too?"

      " He's inside- what is going on?"

      " Zane."

     " Zane!?" Garroth asked once Alina and Lilith had been ushered inside." What about him, you found him?"

      " Well, kind of, which is why I came here. Zane has Emmalyn, and he's killed Kenmur."

      " What!?"

     " Kenmur's... dead?"

     " Yes, which is why I came to speak with you two, in hopes that you could track Zane down and we could at least get Emmalyn back."

     " Of course," Alex replied with a nod of her head." Whatever we can do to help."

     " Right, I will go back to Phoenix Drop with you and catch my brother," Garroth spoke." While Alex will stay back here to keep Hyria and the kids safe."

     Alex raised an eyebrow." I was not informed of this. Last I checked, once we were sure Alina and Lilith were safe, we were both supposed to head back to Phoenix Drop if they needed our help."

     " And how can we be sure Alina and Lilith are safe?"

     " We can't, however, we'll never be sure they're safe," the freckled girl reasoned." All that we can do is trust that Hyria can keep them safe if we go to help out elsewhere. And besides, once we locate Zane's general location, I'm the best hope at finding exactly where he is, as well of any dangers in the area, without getting caught."

     Garroth was silent for a moment." Alright, I just don't want to put more lives in danger than are needed."

     Dante cleared his throat." If you two are done arguing, I could really use that help."

     " Here are some maps, as well as letters claiming he was near the senders' towns, Garroth, since you know your brother better than any of us, I was wondering if these locations would mean anything."

     " They're looking for libraries." Alex spoke up." If Zane has Emmalyn, he's probably trying to get information from her about whatever that thing he was so attached to does or how to use it. That probably means they're heading from town to town in this general area. Unless they've somehow got off track. When was the last sighting?"

     " A few weeks ago, in this town right here." Dante pointed to somewhere on the map." It's where I saw him."

     " And you haven't heard from any town since then? All of these villages have Libraries, and good ones at that, they should be in a different town by now..."

     " Dante! Alex! Garroth!" Alexis came running in." Someone's at the docks."

     " Tu'la?"

     " No," the young girl replied." No one recognizes them, but according to Leona, she smells more Werewolves."

A/N: Alright, two apologies here. One, I'm sorry for not updating in a few days, I had some relatives coming over who I hadn't seen since the beginning of the Pandemic. Two, I'm sorry for the extra short chapter, I was hoping to make it longer, but this wouldn't be the entire episode and it would probably be intertwined with whatever Aphmau was doing. Also, this is my first chapter of trying to guess what would've happened after season three just ended randomly. As always I hope someone at least somewhat enjoyed this chapter, please comment if you feel like it, any to all comments make my day, and have a good day!
