" Right... so we need to be heading west from here, are the others still headed for the Phoenix Alliance Capital?"
Garroth nodded." I told them to keep heading there. I felt it would be best that since we were separated anyway, they could head to the capital and warn Aphmau, besides that might be the safest place for Alina and Lilith now that the Werewolves have the forest, and while they were doing that, we could see what we could do to help Phoenix Drop."
" That's probably for the best. We should probably stay here for the night, leave first thing tomorrow morning and search for a port to take us back home."
" Right. I can go see if there's a ship available at the docks if you can go get food and supplies?"
" Alright, we'll spend the night there and leave first thing tomorrow morning, the sooner we get home, the sooner we can help Phoenix Drop."

" We're docking."
Alex nodded, getting up from the box she'd been sitting on for nearly the entire journey. She looked around at their surroundings before realizing something." This isn't Phoenix Drop..."
" I just noticed the same, let me go speak to the captain about this." Garroth turned around to speak with the man in charge of the ship." We paid to go to Phoenix Drop."
" I'm sorry sir, but this is the closest we can get, Phoenix Drop is blocked off from entering."
Alex and Garroth exchanged a concerned look before the prior handed a bag of money to the captain and both raced off the boat, rushing in the direction of Phoenix Drop.
They arrived at the gates the following afternoon, only to see that they were closed, with two Werewolves guarding the entrance.
" We should have expected this," Alex muttered as she headed a little ways deeper into the trees." They wouldn't have just taken us and left completely, if they new Aphmau lived here they'd take it over and wait for her return."
Garroth put a hand on his friends shoulder." Don't worry, we made it out of their castle, I'm sure we can make it back into our village to save it. We know what's going on now, and with that information we can make a plan."
" Of course, and the first step of every plan is to evaluate the situation," the freckled girl stated, her mind automatically switching into planning mode." Which is what we just did, Werewolves at the entrance, I think if we observe Phoenix Drop enough, we may be able to figure out their routines for guarding so that we can attack when they're weakest. Our best bet is to hide at Hyria's while we're figuring this out, it's close by, and if they come back to search it to see if anyone's there, we'll be able to easily hide in the woods."
The other relic holder offered her a smile." Let's take back our Village."
A/N: Sorry for this being such a short chapter, however I did feel like it was a necessary one. I was originally going to add in a scene at the inn with the 'and there was only one bed' trope, with the usual 'them being logical about the situation', but it seemed unnecessary so I cut it out, although I may add it as a bonus chapter later on, depending on how I feel about it. As always I hope someone at least somewhat enjoyed this chapter, please comment if you feel like it, any to all comments make my day, and have a good day!
