Suddenly, the celestial cannon shook again.
Alex turned to her companion with a worried expression on her face." You didn't cause that, right?"
" No... this isn't good."
A few moments passed in silence, while both looked around for the cause of whatever was going on, before suddenly the glass from all the windows in the room shattered, as shadow knights began filling the room.
The freckled girl turned to her companion." We need to get this battle away from Phoenix Drop."
Garroth nodded and hit a few buttons, causing the cannon to lurch again, before both he and Alex prepared for battle. Before either could make a move, two more familiar figures entered the room from one of the broken windows. With a wave of his hand, the taller of the two newcomers froze the two relic holders where they stood.
" The celestial cannon again? I'm surprised you even managed to find it."
Alex attempted to open her mouth, only to find that the action was impossible.
" Oh, you have nothing to say? How disappointing. I thought you'd want to greet your small friend here."
He pulled over the person who had entered with him, a small three-year-old with dark hair. Alina.
" As good as it has been to see some of my dear old friends again, I believe there are some other familiar faces aboard this ship who I would like to speak with."
Then suddenly, as he spoke, his voice echoed all through the ship.
" Irene, I know you are about this 'Celestial Cannon' and I know you are looking for a way to bring about my downfall. You really do need to be more secretive about these things, I could see your weapon rise into the sky all the way at your 'Phoenix Alliance Island'. In fact, that's part of the reason I am here, you see, as I speak I am in the company of our dear daughter, as well as two of your friends. I give you this information now, as I would love for you to be there when I regain my relic, with the helpful use of the weapon that you activated. You should move quickly though, as I can only be so patient. I give you fifteen minutes to find the room we are in and attempt to stop me."
He smiled over at the three relic holders, his voice now back to normal." And now, my friends, we wait."

Seven minutes passed before the door was practically blown open, as Aphmau, Emmalyn, Laurence, and Katelyn all rushed into the control room and began attacking Shadow Knights immediately. At this, Shad released Alex and Garroth, keeping Alina frozen, allowing them to join in the fight.
Thinking quickly, the pink-haired relic holder summoned some magic, throwing Shad and his followers out of the room and blocking the doorways with more magic. Alina, freed from Shad's spell as he got thrown out, ran towards her mother, who hugged her gratefully.
" We don't have much time," Garroth said automatically as soon as they were all reunited and not in a battle." They're going to break through those doors soon so we need to come up with our plan now."
Aphmau looked down at her daughter with a smile, as sadness shown through her eyes." On our way here, Emmalyn and I came up with a plan, and while I may not like it... I feel she's right about it being our best bet to stop Shad and keep everyone safe... We have to use the Celestial Cannon."
" You mean, do the exact thing that Shad was trying to do?"
" Yes... I know it's an awful plan, but I have a feeling it's reversible, at it will be easier to stop Shad from getting to Alina if she's a part of someone else."
